Drugs

Piggybacking on the topic of drug testing applicants for unemployment insurance, I was curious to know who here uses or has tried drugs?

I never tried anything other than cannabis and will only smoke when a friend's uncle comes down from the Bay Area with his medicinal marijuana. It's usually only once a year, the last time being in October 2008.

Outside of this, alcohol and biting sarcasm are my drugs of choice.

Also what drugs, if any, would you be willing to try once?

Other than perhaps mushrooms, for me nothing.

 

I don't do drugs mmmmkay. I could easily lose my license so I avoid it for that and other reasons.

 

But you do drink right?

 

I tried weed a few years back in college.

 

The only drug I've ever done is alcohol. And even then I don't get "wasted".

Growing up with a drug addicted brother and growing up with smokers, I've had zero desire to try cigarettes or any type of drug.

Also, my next door neighbors growing up grew weed in their crawlspace and I had to smell the stuff when they smoked it and we happened to come into the house. :smt078

So, I have no interest in altering my reality. I rather enjoy my life the way it is! :smt023

 

That is correct. I made an assumption by the word "drugs" and the list that you'd provided that you meant illicit ones. I enjoy alcohol from time to time.

 

Under the right circumstances, alcohol can be pretty illicit.

 

I have smoked pit, I'm not a fan of it. I hit a roach nearly 2 years ago. Weed is not my thing. Drugs aren't my thing. I do drink beer. But I can go moths without drinking alcohol.

 

In California, we call that "horticulture."

In my misguided youth, I did a lot of drugs. Just nothing intravenously. I was pretty much done by 16 or 17. Stopped drinking excessively by 21 when I started working for the airline.

When I retire up north, I think I might start smokin pot again. But nothing is worth my job so absolutely nothing until I retire.

 

lipstick had a misguided youth as well...i basically drank my way through highschool & college...i smoked herb for several years...i have tried coke but only one time...coke made me paranoid...i grew up in montana a state that has the highest alcohol consumption rate per cap...everything came to a screeching halt at age 30 when i had spencer...i no longer smoke...and i rarely drink...2 is my limit...i do not keep alcohol in my house...

 

Fukkk drugs, I am high on life!

 

Other than the cocaine this is fairly normal, especially when you cut down on the drinking upon becoming a parent. I drank my way through college too, so it's all good.

Take that back, shrooms once, but they didn't really affect me so I don't think I was really "under the influence".

I drink every now and then. Typically, its socially.

I likes my reefer, though.

Medically ceritified, that is.

When I was 13 I did acid once, and pretended to smoke weed around that age as well, then couple years ago I smoked weed for real (enough to get me high) and I'll never do that again. I drink/get drunk socially, but haven't in over a year. That's it. And today I quit smoking cigarettes and it's turning out to be so much easier than I thought.

 

When I was a bout 13, we smoked a lot of pot but it's something I've not touched since I was about 15. I don't even smoke, so I'm pretty dull when it comes to drugs
I do drink though, socially.
