They got little notice and in most cases were ignored. Yet despite the rabid racism of their time they still invented, created, innovated and researched when others told them they were not equal. They received little recognition in history, even from their own, until now.

 

I forgot his name, but I remember a Black History ad on the train, which shed light on a little known architect, who was a brotha, that actually played an important hand, in the designing of the Philadelphia Art Museum way back in the day. He worked for an architectural firm and all, but no one knew of him.
