I have long been interested in how European women from different cultural perspectives see life and how lifestyles from their countries shape them. Can anyone recommend a source as to where one can go to see how cultures shape groups of people and what makes one group different from another in terms of what they value. You hear how British women differ from Spanish women or Italian women differ fom Germany women. What are those differences and how does it shape their thinking as to how they see themselves and the rest of the world. Also, since American women are an amalgamation of many cultures, can it be said that they are truly different from women of europe?

BT2005,on the Black Planet site you see the number of Euro women who go for brothers. The bigger the number the more favorable.

I can tell u about Germany a little. After WW2 British,French,American and Russian allies marched in.They all closed their bases except for the Americans.
Also college and university education are free in many parts of Germany which attracts people from all over the world to study and work here at least for a while.Including black men from all over.
So in and around towns with either university/college or US military base women are quite used to black men here.

About German women in general I can't say too much because in the end we're all individuals.
However the rate of young women with kids isnt as high as in the states.
Maybe sex education at school or the fact that that topic is not really a big deal for many of us here plays a role in that point.

From what I heard from American guys is that they think German women go for what they want-also when it comes to men.But that's just what they say...Lol I can't tell.

Germany has a very long history of IR. For example when the French occupied the Ruhr Valley they used Black troops. Some children came from those relationships.
