What part of Russia you originally came from? In August, I met two beautiful girls from Perm http://www.uraltourism.com/perm.php and one of them named Valerya, could speak French and I was just charmed by her though her French was much more beautiful. When they both spoke English, they had similar accent that was marvelous. I think it's the contrast of hearing them speaking together in Russian, which sort of sounds like a "strong" and "authoritarian" language, and yet there's something sexy and very feminine about it when they pronounce words in English or French. I dunno, it's hard to explain.
Valeriya, what a great name ( It's actually my first name, hahaha ) I'm from Veliky Novgorod, it's pretty close to St. Petersburg. I get what you mean though, generally people assume that the Russian accent is really rough and masculine but that generally isn't true at all.
I'ev gotta go w/ Irainian accents and russian accents There are a lot of middle eastern women where I live and i love hearing them speak. About a two hour drive south and Its like I'm in moscow. There are a lot of russians in Williamsburg.
I've heard that term once and it was used to describe an Irish person with dark/black hair and no freckles etc. Besides that, I don't know.
I love my man's Kenyan accent. It makes me melt. :smt045 African accents in general are sexy as hell to me. But I love English accents too (except for very posh ones), but I especially LOVE geordie accents (Like Robson Green's - english actor from Wire in the Blood).
I don't think i can choose one all the accents have something nice french is nice, british also australian is nice ....i think i will say all if i continue anyway now i remember with this topic when people meet me always try from my accent to find where am from and till now none have i dont have a strong accent like when you hear some people speak English you just say oh he is greek or italian and more.. just dont have that strong accent last time when i first go to the place i cut my hair there is a couple that have the place she is Austalian and his background is from iran it was funny he was trying to guess where i am from he said few and asked a clue after i had to tell him at the end.
As of in the US the most sexy accent has to be men from the south/Texas area. But overall the sexiest accent has to be Jamaican, English, Scottish, and Australian. lol I have a MAJOR thing for accents.
I think we need a thread of all our accents, ie a strip of recording, nothing special we could have a script so we all say the same thing. The rain in spain, stays mainly on the plane, or something like that.
Haha, if I ever get a mic, I'd be up for that! Although I always speak much more politely and hide my 'proppa Manc' accent when I'm speaking to people I don't know
