I will never post a photograph of myself on the Internet. That is just not my cup of tea.

    Cheers!

I used to subscribe to Men's Health but of late it seems to be targeting gays, and maybe women? It is still a good read during a airline flight.

    lol

well they probably figured that they need to target more demographics, to make more $$$

just ignore any gay personals you may see towards the end of the book

Men's Health online (US Version) is rubbish. A few years ago, they offered a section in which you could chat about clothing. The quality began to deteriorate when blokes would ask bizarre questions.

You would embark Men asking questions in regards to how to shave their genitals and arse.

I stopped viewing the forums once such questions became a daily routine. They eventually closed that section down and all moved towards Askmen forums.

I would imagine my mentality is too hardcore for those who frequent Men’s Health Fitness Section. They adored Brad Pitts physique in Troy whereas I, only saw the end result of 6 months training from a beginner.

    Cheers!

Fitness magazines are misleading, as they typically use professional bodybuilders and fitness models with the implicit assumption that you're capable of giving your physique a similar mold. I've noticed that Muscle and Fitness has veered away from consistently using impossibly muscular models on their covers, but the inner content is generally the same. For those of us who do not have the time (or inclination) to left weights rigorously for hours a day, plus consume a bevy of supplements and follow a highly restrictive diet, the physique of a bodybuilder is out of reach for most of us. This is different from having good muscle tone, which is realistic for most.

I use a jumprope, two 25 lb dumbells, exercise ball, yoga mat and take one multivitamin and fish oil tablet a day. I feel great every day.

They are misleading only if you are a dumb fuck! The large number of routine examples as well as a number of nutritional articles makes the purchase price worth it, a novice can learn a great deal. As I've stated Muscular Development was my preferred choice...

Well at least one of us cares about muscle magazines.

It's also obvious from your zealous defense that you possess superior knowledge of muscular fitness and exercise physiology that perhaps we will all be the beneficiary to?

Nope, your assumption is inaccurate. I would not even consider myself a novice these days, perhaps when I used to go on the reg, maybe I was a novice then. Even so I had no right to tell anyone what's right or wrong.

Everyone has to figure out what works for them, from what motivates them to when is the best time for them to go to the gym to utilize the equipment they need to attain their goals the morning, or the evening when it's packed?

As I stated fitness mags can show you that some butterfly machines can be used to work the chest and the back. These mags can show you ways Dips can be used to work your chest and your triceps or you can observe the guy who's physique is sick and quietly goes about his work out to pick up clues.

Truth be told I miss going to the gym a lot, I miss being sore, I miss the growth gains and I miss feeling in shape.

I used to have subscriptions to Muscle & Fitness, Flex and Iron Man. I still read those whenever I get a chance but the price of many magazines are too high for me these days.

I never subscribed but I like a lot of what I read in Men's Health as well.

Men's Health and the Men's Fitness magazines. Also I read as many martial arts publications I can for tips on flexibility exercises, cardio-training, and weight -training. I believe in the total training concept or cross-training. I need strength as well as power delivery coupled with an increased range of movement.
