Yes, I have been secretly attracted to a board member and it was even without seeing a picture of her. Just from reading a few of her posts, I guess I was seduced by the sophistication of her writings and I just imagined her to be very lady like in person.

When I finally got a chance to see her picture, I wasn't disapointed at all

 

Actually many women on this board are very pretty and some are stunners (like my homegirl Amazonka)... even though haters like to say that the women black men date are "bottom of the barrel" and what not. They should see our picture thread.

But regarding my crush, it wasn't even based on the physical part, just some words written on various subjects did the trick. It was odd. It seems like I was seduced by the flawless grammar, careful sentences structures, the overall intellect. I get very turned on when a woman is cultured and expresses herself elegantly, and turned off when she's totally uncultured and limited. So it was more like a crush based on a "beautiful mind" than a pretty face or nice body.

 

It's nice to know that there are men like you out there... who do notice and appreciate refinement, still... men who are turned on by elegance in a world that is sinking deeper and deeper into vulgarity.

To me, there's nothing more appealing than etiquette and a very cultured woman. There was an Italian girl that came to work with us about two months ago, she was fluent in four languages, well-travelled and could talk about all kind of subject(including football) with a wide body of knowledge. Every conversation with her stimulating. I liked her immediately. Too bad she was married and only stayed for a month or so...
