Why Don't We Receive Reputation Notifications??

    I noticed that we receive notifications whenever we have incoming friend requests but thats the only time.

    Shouldn't we receive notifications whenever we receive a reputation comment?

    Most people dont even know that the reputation exists on this site. Thus, it is hardly utilized.

    I've seen other vBulletin forums where you receive notifications for rep comments.

    Sorry for the delay. I just saw this thread.

    There is no option to notify you when you get +/- reputation but you can see reputation you've received in your user control panel.

    It was set to display the last 5, but I've upped it to 10.

    Any plan to display the sender of the rep or to you plan to continue to allow anonymity?

    I've occasionally viewed them and I'm pretty sure they will remain anonymous. I believe it's also the only way to comment anonymously to someone else at this time, so I don't know if I'd want to take that option away from people.

    True, and the candid commenter can always reveal his identity if he so chooses.

    Very true. I like to ID myself when I give rep. I don't think I've given negative rep yet, when someone posts something I disagree with, I just agree to disagree. Or I simply ignore them.... "lalalalala I can't hear you."
