The high-class escort at the centre of the Governor Elliot Spitzer scandal has revealed rap mogul RUSSELL SIMMONS
is helping her get past the controversy.
The New York Governor resigned after his sessions with hooker Ashley Dupre
were exposed, and she immediately became both a figure of fun and a person of interest.
Struggling to deal with the fall-out, Dupre sought sanctuary in yoga sessions - and befriended Simmons at one.
Now, in a blog on GlobalGrind.com, Dupre admits she's finding "inner strength" from the Def Jam Records co-founder, who has become a yoga nut.
She writes, "Discovering my identity came through the quiet reflection I enjoyed while practicing yoga, and the inner strength I've developed attracts powerful things.
"Russell was there, reaching out to give me hand placement tips and educate me about the virtues of yoga that he's discovered throughout the years. He explained the importance of understanding that our actions sometimes have far reaching consequences - a lesson that certainly resonated with me."
