I was just wondering if I am of a dying species of people with less than 2 "social networking" webpages dedicated to myself? I have only one (old school facebook) and seem to be the only person in the western hemisphere with that stat. How many of you have sites on Tagged, Facebook, MySpace, etc...? If you do have more than one page, what is the draw or reasons for multiple sites? I am honestly interested. I am so out of the loop lol.
I only have my classmates. I use to have myspace but I was spending too much time online so I deleted it. I keep getting invites to join from people in groups (like women in aviation, november coalition, FAMM etc), but just not interested. I guess I am just old.
i don't have any pages...i prefer that people not be able to google me...too much information on the internet...you just never know when it will come back and bite you on the butt...i just took my contact info off of my profile here because as soon as i put it up i started getting random messages from people i don't know...
I used to have a lot Tagged, Facebook, MySpace, hi-5, flixter i was send invites and i didnt want to say no so end up join ..anyway now i close almost everything i use most the Facebook still got myspace but i dont go there anymore, maybe i will close it also
I am investigating a product that would link this forum into Facebook. It would work something like this. - Current members on the site now would log in as usual. - Facebook members who come to this site would auto-login if they are coming in through Facebook. They would not have to register an account. - Facebook members would receive Facebook notifications when they subscribe to a thread and there is a reply or they receive a PM. - A news-feed will publish to a members Facebook wall when they log in for the time, reply to a thread, or create a thread. * Facebook data like name, location, and profile photo would display in the forum. * If any of the user's friends are also registered on the forum, they will automatically be friends on Facebook. * This would also link into an interracial group created on Facebook. Your thoughts?
I have a myspace, and i have an account on vkontakte.ru, which is a Russian version of facebook (me and Dinara talk on there a lot). I used to have a regular facebook, but deleted it once the layout became complete crap.
I use facebook, but nothing else. I used to have a myspace when I was about 16 but there are too many weirdos and too many bands on there. Facebook I like because I know 96% of my friends on there in person, and it's much much easier for me to keep in touch with people with it.
I've got myspace and vkontakte.ru accounts. Vkontakte.ru is my favorite though, because all of my friends on there are real.
and you also talk to my real friends on there right, which is really cool! even though you get those silly messages from russian guys sometimes, about how much they like rap and hip-hop music. lol
I only have facebook aswell, and Bebo that was set up or me by my 18yr old niece, but i have not been on since. To many will just get time consuming.
