Do you have siblings that also date IR?

    Philadelphia isn't too bad..

you see mixed babies and mixed couples on occasion, but you rarely hear (or see) incidents related to mistreatment of IR couples and things like that. Over the years, people have grown to accept it or simply 'shut the fuck up' if they don't.

    :)

Of course, you can't stop people from looking at you a certain way, unless you just had a nice workout followed by a big protein shake, and feel like being gully.

    :p

...I'm glad you put me up on game, I've heard of some divisive relations coming out of Philly. However, being a large city, there's bound to be a wealth of IR.

    :)

:mrgreen:LOL, I see you have that problem too...

some people give me gruff, for being open about liking white women, period..

some can't understand that there are some of em, that had absolutely nothing to do, with our country's history....

interestingly enough, no one really gave me shit (except for some latina who liked me) back in high school, when I gave a white girl a nice 'lovey dovey' letter and asked her to my senior prom.

My uncle (my mom's brother) was married to a white woman for almost 30 years. They had a child together. He and I are pretty much the only ones who consistently date IR

Since none of the other men will likely touch this, I'll say good for him

Well, to be honest with you, my family never disagreed with who I chose to date. They didn't do it with my uncle either and he got married in the 70s, when IR was a lot less common than today. Maybe they were a bit surprised he married who he did, but no one had any objections to it that I know of.

    my family is iffy..

I don't think my dad really cares, as long as it's a woman and not some dude

I have an aunt who's supportive and dated IR in the past...

but on the flip side, I have some family members who would look at me with 10 eyes, if I dated or married a white girl...

but, what it all comes down to, is what makes YOU happy..

if a girl makes you happy, there should be nothing in the way

My family is a lot like yours, Bry. My oldest bro is married (with a daughter) to a white woman, my cousin is a serial white woman dater and my second bro - even though he's married to a black woman - used to date a lot of white girls when he was not yet married.

In many ways, i think i picked it up from them. I generally have had my attraction to white women anyway, but i used to meet many of the girls they used to bring home or the ones i'd meet, and i guess its something that rubbed off on me.

    Who knows?

No-one in my family. Not immediate or extended family. When I was in college I told my mom that a black guy had asked me if I was bi-racial and she said " Oh gosh no, there are no n***ers hiding in the woodpile". I still cringe at the memory and that was 20 years ago.

My brother has dated bw before.
I'm kinda hoping it works out with the girl he's into now, she's super nice and not a super slut like his ex.

My cousin does. He doesn't care what color a girl is though. If they look good, he fucks with it. Most of the good looking girls he fucks with ust happen to be white.

That's unfortunate. I would hope that those family members who disapprove come around. Like you said, it's about being happy
