Just a really tough time believing you are a 38-39 year old Nephrologist interested in 19 year old girls. Something is off here.

Everyone here is being way too nosey, as long as it's legal do whoever the hell you want.

If you and your girlfriend are fine since you two had sex then there's no problem. Ignore the fact she's white and 19. No one was pressurised, everyone is happy. Smile!

Besides, the age gap isn't anything, have you seen the PYT's Russ Simmon's has on his arm? They can't be much older than me and he's what... 50's? If you and her don't have a problem with the age gap then cool, that's all that matters.

 

I lied... it's more around 3 minutes... but okay the parking lot at your local supermarket in 1 hour.

 

Maybe he shouldn't come on here posting all of his business if he doesn't really want any comments. When someone asks repeatedly for advice about such things, they will receive advice. May not be what they want to hear though.

 

I was 20 and seeing someone 37 at that point and didnt see anything sick about it. Cant help that Im a little more mature than most guys around my age...

 

I am 36 by the way...and yes she is 19 but I definitely wouldnt call her a girl....so let me ask you something?? at what point does she become a woman?? her 21st birthday?? does a magical adulthood granting fairy floats down from lala land and sprinkle her with adult dust and waa laa she is a woman??? look i have spoken to this lady ad nauseum about both age and race...and we are still standing...I honestly at this point have no reservations about her age at this point, she is a woman...she is not in awe of me, she is not intimidated by me, she speaks her mind, she does what she want to do, she talks and thinks for herself...and when we are out people think we look great together I dont even think people know that there is an age gap...

haha, you guys are funny...I think people are mislead by these posts, b/c really I am not some super sensitive flimsy sissified punk...I am a man...I am not posting for advice b/c ultimately I make my own decisions regardless of what other people think...I have been making my own decisions since I was about to think...I post these things to gather data/differing opinions/maybe something I have not thought about...sadly, usually that is not what I get in return...basically just the predictable...

Ladies...come on. Don't tell me that if you THREW yourself at a man and he didn't take the bait and have sex with you that you wouldn't have ONE thought about why he didn't want to have sex with you, and it might put a dent in your self esteem. The only person I can think of that wouldn't take it that way is LIfe, and I haven't seen her around here since I came back.

And to the OP, for me, it all depends on the situation. I've had sex on a first date, I've waited to 'preserve' the relationship (didn't work out anyway). It's all about the moment. If you (and your girl) were the type to wait until you were ready to join your souls together, I don't think you'd be asking this question.

 

I understand and respect that it was your personal decision but the thought of waiting till marriage or telling someone to, is highly unrealistic.

As for joining of souls .... maybe its just me but what does souls have to do with fucking ?! Don't get me wrong its a very poetic (or romantic) way of putting it but it makes no sense (to me). Its like what parents tell their kids to try to dissuade them from having sex ... its a special bond between a man and a woman, when two people are in love, their souls unite blah blah blah. Sorry but all that rhetoric makes me a little queasy.

 

I got what he was saying too. I know at the back of my head I'd think what's wrong with me that he didn't. That actually has happened to me in the past and that is what I always thought especially when/if the man tells you that he's attracted to you etc but resists having sex with you. I think anyone's self esteem would be a little dented.

I don't even know why you have to justify it to others SirNice. You don't have to. None of us here can say whether its right, wrong or whatever. Age really does not matter. We get stuck on numbers but it says nothing about the person. If you click and have mutual interests, are comfortable with each other and the age gap then its RIGHT. A person at 19can be more mature than someone at 29 or 39.

As I've said before I think too many people here are highly judgemental.
