for example,a female whos 5'5,110 pounds has nothing to hide

 

Back in my pre-baby days, I weighed 135 pounds. I'm 5'3". I wore a size 6 and had curves. I weigh slightly more now, but heading back to my 135 pounds....I don't think you'd look emaciated! We're only 1 inch difference in height.

Though if that's the case with your sizes, we must have very different body types!!

But, in either case, I'm in agreement. I would NOT consider a woman who weighs 135 pounds to be anywhere near thick (unless she was under 5' tall!!). That's just my opinion.

Go through the personals on any dating site and see how many women will post their weight. I understand that you as a male don't understand why women won't post their weights. But the truth is that very few will do so no matter what they weigh. And even when they do - they typically lie! Think about models who will do the same...they don't want to even THINK they are one pound heavier on one day vs another. Many won't even tell their true size.

And btw - men usually have no clue as to what the reality of any of it is anyway. For example....my 16 year old is 5'1 113 pounds and wears a size 0-1 pants. I know she weighs this, I've been to the doc with her. I know she wears that size - I buy clothing for her. She's a thin girl.

Well when I'm 145-150 I wear the same size clothing you do at 135. I'm very chesty and definitely have a lot of muscle and I have a wider back. At 130 (which is what I said) yah I do look emaciated, as in hip bones sticking out.

I don't think a size 6 (which is right what I said "5/7") is anywhere near thick either. Susan Lucci is a size 6 and I've seen her on several occasions, she's very tiny.

Sure she does, because a woman that small is likely to have either issues with being too skinny, or have herself convinced that she's too fat. She'd probably list herself at either 120 or 100.

There's nothing you can really do about fat girls calling themselves thick. Men started the shit in the first place. The only reason I refer to myself as thick is because any time I say the word "fat" in concern with me guys constantly correct me "No baby, you're thick. No where near fat. It's two different things, and you ain't that." Now, you might think I'm fat! But everyone else apparently doesn't. So big whoopty do, the hell does it really matter what anyone else calls themselves anyway? It ain't on you.

I usually think of thick being small waisted with bigger thighs, boobs, ass and hips. People who are "thick" are still "toned" imo and nothing like BBW.
As Malikom said, it's hard to find WW who are "thick". The ones that are thick in the way that I use the term are hip hop video models usually.

Yah I agree with you DH. I certainly never went around calling myself "thick"...that's something men put on me. My feeling is...it is what it is. Always a work in progress. I'm cool with where I'm at, at any given point. I used to think I was fat when I was very thin because I listened to the shit others said. It's all such surface crap anyway. I mean really....we all talk about preferences in height weight color looks etc but come on - all that goes flying out the window if it's really "THERE" with someone.

No, a size 6 is definitely not thick. In any sense of the word.

 

Thick means having an hourglass figure except with a larger bust-line, wider hips and more backside...but your stomach is still flat. That is the "prototype" for thickness; a skinny girl with big-girl breasts and booty.

This type of girl is great but I've got no problem with a "chubby" girl or a skinny girl. As long as the woman is comfortable in her own skin (or if she's not..at least is willing to change what she doesn't like with hard work)...it's all gravy.

I'm the rare person that has been chubby/fat, skinny, medium, muscular and back to medium (though DH says I'm more skinny than medium/muscular now). Having been all types, it's easy to appreciate women from all sides of the equation.

If I put on 50lbs I wouldn't be thick, I'd be fat/chubby/whatever. Thick is a shape you're born with or get surgery to achieve.
