I agree. And when controversy comes in his administration, and it will come, his supporters will defend him to no end, the same as the Bush supporters did

I say a lot of blame for the mess we are in is shared by Congress as well. A lot of those bastards (democrat and republicans) have so enriched them selves in office (just gave themselves a payraise) should be cleansed from office. They count on the ignorance of the general public to get the blame deflected from themselves. Many of those bastards still get re-elected.

Playboy say what you will about the departing prez it's apparent that you have no idea how difficult it is to be nominated the president of the United States. Trust me he's 10x smarter than you and me combined and that's with his pedigree included. Furthermore the odds of you having a shot @ becoming prez is long enough eliminate you even if you have no skeletons in your closet (10,000,000 to 1)

All humor aside I don't believe, and never said, that Bush is stupid. The man has a Harvard MBA. I know his pedigree well. He appeals to the common man by way of informal speech even though he has an aristocratic lineage. His intellect is misunderstood due to the proliferation of media soundbites, but you have to admit, Ivy education aside, the guy has said some retarded things in the past 8 or so years.

Furthermore, of course I realize how difficult it is to garner the support and win the nomination of a political primary much less the nomination of one's political party. Before Obama even won the Democratic nomination, he made a significant breakthrough just by winning the Iowa caucus. Running for President is no walk in the park by any means.

Lastly, the odds of winning the U.S. presidency is obviously insurmountable. It takes a skillful team of political geniuses and an endless supply of $$$ to even be considered a viable candidate. The odds do increase, however, if you can find a way to manipulate the voting process in the state that is governed by your brother.

I never said his message/story wasn't inspiring and yes he did united the country but his supporters are exactly that, they can't think critically and see him as someone that cannot do wrong, like some sort of angel or something that's what I don't get.

He has charisma in bucketloads and more than his story and the fact that thanks to Bush Republicans were dead in the water, that is the only way he got elected. He was a fresh personality, attractive with an attractive family. Personally he reminds me of a snake oil salesman, he knows what buttons to push, he knows what people want to hear and he dishes it out. Time will tell if there's anything genuine there. He's shifted a lot since the election and primary campaign though.

Exactly but I think Obama's supporters are much more "devoted" to use another word other than brainwashed LOL .. from my point of view its like if he says jump they'll say how high. I don't get that at all but he has that charm that does work on people I'll give him that.

Sorry, guys but the hate is not necessary for a man who has given the best years of his life, and aged at least 2 for one, during his term, trying his best to keep you safe. You may not agree with the way he did it, but he did the best he could and put his heart into it.

Wow, and all this coming from Scandinavia, and a person who can't spell America, France, or Europe for that matter!!! You sure to give Bush credit for a lot, making the whole USA hate France? What should you say to a country that you back in it's wars and when you need backing you get a back turned instead?

Wow, here I thought it was Clinton!!:smt096

My dear friend, we agree once again!!

    You got that right!!

I agree whole 100% with the bold print, and I'll chose to forgive the rest. :p

The world turned its back to USA because you acted like f*ckin idiots. Ok?
And yeah. Scandies, we are so horrible, not letting people just shove shit down our throat. Can't even spell. Horrible HORRIBLE people, maybe you should just pretend we have weapons of mass destruction and bomb out norway, and take sweden while you're at it? I mean, horrible, evil and crappy spellers like us deserve to die, and I mean, god hates sweden anyway so it's not like it matters? It'll be en act of good wouldn't it?
Maybe even God makes the rapture come quicker! I mean there is a place in (oh no! small letter! *dies*--->)sweden called Medelpad, thats almost like Megiddo.. !

WOW! You really take the cake, could you be just a little bit nice to yourself? Voice your disagreement with me, if you want to, but you really shouldn't talk about yourself that way!! You remind me of someone who becomes self destructive whenever they are angry at others. Not healthy my friend, not at all!!:smt018

It's cute that you try to use some sort of dry wit and sarcasm, it's just such a pity that you epic fail.. Because dearie, I do hope that's what you are doing, the alternative is way too plausible, but I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt here.

Petty are you suggesting G. Bush was elected mostly because he has paper and his family had power?
