LoL, aww. What'd they say would happen? Are you a righty or a lefty? It's been my own personal experience that men, lefties, and men who are lefties, are most likely to have...not so smooth and pretty handwriting. All this talk about handwriting is making me almost want to start a graphology/handwriting analysis thread. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Graphology I don't think many people would go for it though.
Well im a Lefty, my handwriting is a chaotic mess, its not spelling thats the prob, its the smudges as i drag my hand across the writing, ie i am not a lefty who twists there hand into a downward arc to write (that looks so uncomfortable!!) I remember in primary school my exercise book always got a raised eyebrow as did my half completely ink covered hand. :smt099 Oh well an overwhelming percentage of comedians are left handed, so all the left handed trials and tribulations must aide you with a sense of humour. I had my handwriting analysed once, only by one of these stalls at a craft fair, it was not complimentary the pressure i put on the paper says alot about you, lets just say i can imprint 5 pages down. lol
yes, yes! exactly. Thats why I nowadays always bring a laptop to class... Doesn't matter how little motivation I have, times new roman will always look the same. The thing that differs now is that at the end of the semester, inbetween the notes, there's a lot of God Damn Let Me OUT in between the actuall notes.
I do that too, actually. Leaving words out in sentences sometimes. It's why I've trained myself to always go back and double check everything that I write. It's also why I prefer to type everything, instead of writing anything by hand, because it's much more annoying to add in missing words with handwritten stuff. *L* yay we're geniuses francie!
Don't be sad, petty! You know I'd take you out if you were in Houston! hahahahaha We'd karaoke the night awaaaaay
I'm a lefty..and my handwriting sucks big time. Of course both my parents have poor handwriting so that doesn't help either.
My writing is bad also. If I'm writing something to hand in it will be nicely written but I have a habit for notes and things to write in all capital letters.
I do that all the time, I always print in capital letters, its become a habit, I can't even write in lower case. My handwriting depends on the mood I'm in when I'm writing ... sometimes its really nice, clear and legible and others its a damn mess.
I really noticed this thread only now. I'm with u, DH. I hate when people mistakes italian. And I think that bbreviating (ppl, b/f) can be ok: I do it too, it's quicker, but mistaking is another thing. Since I started talkign to english-language people I read a lot of "women" instead of "woman", or "there" instead of "their" or "they're", "your" instead of "you're", and that makes me ARGH :smt072, but since I'm italian I must shut up, lol. I don't think I would ever date a man who mistakes tenses in sentences etc (italian is a little bit various on verbs than english), and I don't even like accents/dialect, and italians r BAAAAD. Yep, I'm a "nazi" too. About capital letters, I don't use them much on the internet because I want to be quicker, sometimes I'm late or just busy but I don't really like it. It can happen that I go back and correct ^_^. I didn't read if somebody talked about it yet but... What about fullstops, commas etc? Why the hell most of people never learnt how to use them? Or if they know, why don't they show they know that a sentence of 23746 words must have some commas etcs inside? :smt014
