I'm with ya on that. Spelling is a big pet peeve of mine especially simple words like there, their, they're, your, you're etc ... punctuation and grammar doesn't really bug me that much.

Ugh that is disgusting. The place I worked, there were two women who NEVER washed their hands after going to the bathroom. I don't know how they never keeled over from all the germs and bacteria - LOL

Oh I'm not -that- much of a nazi! See, language is a beautiful thing, including some mistakes people make, in my opinion. Without the mistakes we wouldn't have all these interesting dialects and slangs. I purposely mess up my grammar at times. If everyone sounded the same all the time, conversing (that's for you, Bookworm baby! :D Not conversating!) would get so monotonous and boring! Sometimes you just gotta add a little flava.

I suppose that's why I use so much slang and profanity. My own little version of the English language is strange, filled with random words from other languages and a lot of slang. But to me, the slang (read: Ebonics and Redneck) gives me a large vocabulary that consists of far more words than Webster's ever dreamed of, even though they're not considered correct.

    It's just plain interesting!

Besides, especially in typing, sometimes it's ok to bend the rules a bit. It shows character and personality. Like I typed "gotta" earlier...well, that's not correct, but it's how I say it. I prefer my words to be spelled correctly, but within the context of what I'm writing. If I'm writing dialogue for a character who grew up in my home town, their grammar will be atrocious, and the spelling will be skewed to reflect their accent and dialect.

Eh. You just have to know when to bend the rules, and when not to, I suppose.

Well, someone got onto Jellybird for not using punctuation. I dont because I have issues with my ulner nerve. For me to type a ', is difficult. So I roll wit it and thats that.

That and Lupus fog. I can type something during a bad episode and come back later and cant even make out what I was getting at.

As long as I can read it smoothly then it's all good. I hate little things like 'your' and 'you're' but I can deal with it.

I thought I was the only one who was like "what the fuck" when somebody uses "then" or "than" or anything else wrong.

I'm backing you up! I'm with you! When I see someone misspell words in this manner, it makes me turn up my little nose in a snobbish manner, and think very, I mean very, unflattering things about the person. There is NO.DAMN.EXCUSE.

pfft. My parents had nothing to do with my education. I'm mostly self-taught, because my teachers weren't worth much either. I taught myself to read when I was 3 or 4. :D I got tired of waiting around for someone to read to me, so I figured it out on my own.

Ummm....I think so. I'm not entirely sure. I've only heard rumors. You may have to google that to see if it truly exists on the computer. :p

Dammit. You're right. Okay. There is no such thing as spell check. There is no such thing as our "esteemed" governor trying to sell Obama's seat to the highest bidder.

    :p
