I only said that the first Mortal Kombat was crazy. I'm worried that this film may be as bad as the Street Fighter movie. How much CGI will be used?

    not a lot.

Tekken broke away from the "special move"-focused games like Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat, where many characters can throw fireballs or freeze each other. Tekken focused more on up close and personal punching/kicking technique, and throws. You may see some CGI for the Robot character or the Kangaroo.

    :)

That would be funny to see Roger the kangaroo or Combot in the movie. Or that badass little dinosaur from Tekken 3.:D

I suck at every video game but I can kick every man's ass at Tekken! I push the buttons randomly and I always win. My enemy never touches the ground with me. ahaha it's so funny :D

That's what I hate. You can practice hella and get good at Tekken, but it's also a straight button masher because you can beat people by pressing the same button. But that rarely happens to me. I am the ultimate shit at Tekken.:D But it kinda defeats the purpose of learning all the moves in Tekken. God damn Namoc needs to fix that.

:smt067Thats not true. If you know your toons moves inside out , you can destroy button mashers. With all the sidstepping and counters, even the GREAT EDDIE GORDO can be beaten with knowing your toon inside out. I use to put in hella hours in TEKKEN 3, TAG, and 5. trust me if you know those counters and ten hit combos of your character you can destror button mashers

try Virtual Fighter 5. It's not a good game for button mashers, if I remember correctly. It's applauded for rewarding players with actual skill.

Mortal Kombat was like that also. You could be good at street fighter, and suck at that game. PLUS, you took damage WHILE blocking, so that threw people for a loop.

Virtua Fighter is actually on of my favorite games. I was playing that back in the day in kindergarten on my Genisis and Saturn. That game took hella more skill.

I hate Dural. Always changing up her style. I probably suck now though. I haven't played Virtua Fighter in years. Last One I played was VF4:Evolution. Goh is a tight character.

    nice short..

it would be odd fighting someone skilled in that art. The strikes come at you from very weird angles.

Agreed. But I see it as slightly limited because for the most part, it focuses on attacks with the legs. I don't often see capoeira practitioners throwing a lot of punches. Nonetheless, it's amazing to watch those who are experts perform.

My brother hated me, I remember playing WWF Attitude for PS1 against him and I'd beat him by just giving him eye rakes and slaps, he'd go crazy, I just pressed the same button over and over .

It's supposed to be used for dancing anyway..

kinda like using Aikido to pick a fight

As pretty as it is, I'm surprised there aren't more schools for it...

I guess it's too demanding physically

Now that movie is going to SUCK. Movies like that have to be made using too much CG, and too much CG in movies makes them suck.
