If I'd be friends with the woman or know the woman personally, I would NEVER "go there" but otherwise I don't really give a shit about someone I don't know. If I'd want the man bad enough I'd hit it and wouldn't lose any sleep over it. And I know women will call someone like me every horrible name in the book but you know what it ain't my problem. Keep your man in check and he won't be looking elsewhere.

 

That's where we differ I guess. I give a shit about others. I'm a compassionate person. There's no man I want enough to "hit" so much that I'd be willing to lose my self respect and respect for others.

And why is it that no one gives any of the fault to the hurting party that was cheated on. IF they are saying no to there spouses more then they are saying yes to the about having sex then they are just as guilty. By saying no more offten then yes they are pushing their spouse to be tempted to find it else where or give in when it comes to find them.

 

No I meant if the man and I are on the same page about what he's in it for and what I"m in it for. Obviously if he's married, I'd hope he would be sleeping with his wife, I'd expect that. No I've never been married and yes there are scum out there but if anyone would look at infidelity and reasons for it, there are more underlying issues within the relationship that are the "cause" even if the man is a scum bag. No men don't need a "reason" to have sex but often times there are reasons why married men have sex with women other than their wives. Anways, most of the time when men cheat it has absolutely nothing to do with sex.

I wasn't blaming her I'm just saying that sometimes the wives are somewhat at fault and they should look at the relationship as a whole and how their attitude or behavior may have affected what happens. Why is it that a woman will always stick up for a woman in this kind of situation even not knowing the full extent of factors invovled. Its always well how dare you blame the wife or say she could have had anything to do with it. You know what ?! some wives do have a lot to do with their men cheating.

 

I agree Serendepity that both spouses make the marriage what it is and both create the deficiencies but choosing an affair over working it out takes ONE person.

The spouse can be as tempted as they want, but to CHOOSE to have an affair (even one night stand or emotional affair) with someone outside the marriage has NOTHING to do with the wife or other member of the hunting party. Women are tempted too and some choose to disrespect themselves, their husbands and their god when they screw around. Men definately don't have exclusive rights to this. But, NEVER blame the non-scumbag spouse for the crappy choices the scumbag makes. If my husband killed someone, would I be blamed because I didn't let him vent enough about work at home?

That argument puts the responsibility of those choices on the wrong person. The committer CHOOSES this and that is solely their responsibility. If the cheating partner is so incredibly weak that they can't keep their pants or skirts on, then they are taking up too much space and their only true function is to change O2 to CO2 cause otherwise they are useless.
