It started with me in school like a lot of people. Back in the mid 70's in NYC they did the force bussing with us black kids in the ghetto. Because of the white flight of the 60's after the civil rights bill was signed, the inner city schools became all black.

They bused us to a white school and put me next to this red headed italian chick. She had natural bright red head like ronald mcdonald and light pink freckles on her face and her shoulders and arms.

We were in the 1st grade and she sat behind me. She would kick my seat during class and giggle, at first i thought she was harassing me cuz my moms gave me a lecture before starting school to expect shit like they went thru with the little rock seven back in the 50's.

I paid it no mind until one day she kept following me during recess. i tried avoiding her and she came up behind me and pinched my butt and laughed. She had a friend with her and they giggled between each other. I then got a vibe they were not harassing me, and i then chased them around the yard. Picture a little black boy chasing 2 white girls around in the mid 70's. LOL!

After that we chatted but never did anything, her prents moved along with alot of other whites after the 3rd grade cuz too many black kids were being enrolled into the school.

In the 4th grade their was 2 white chicks that sat next to me that were goofy. They liked to pick their nose and line they boogers up in their desk and make little familys with them. One of the white girls was a cute blonde that would stare at me during class and smile, but i never thought anything of it.

There was other times i had white girls flirt with me, but i never put the signs together cuz i was a nerd big time.

Thru all my years of school, thinking back i never had a black chick flirt with me or pay me any attention on a flirting level.

Like all black men, i too got the lecture from my mom not to bring a white girl into the house without any explanation why.

After that i never thought of white chicks again until I joined the Army and they shipped me to Germany. Sending a young 18 year old black kid from the ghetto to Germany/Europe was like being sent to paradise.

    Peace.

You know, I never posted here, and since someone has revived this thread, again I'll do so.

I have always liked black guys, I didn't know very many growing up, but I loved to watch different ones on TV and I was always fascinated with their beautiful skin, but then I like skin in general, I like to see clear beautiful complexions of any color. I tend to be much more attracted to darker tans and darker pigmentation.

However since I married a Mexican guy early, I was not really in the dating scene, and so I didn't really think much about the attraction, then once in a while I would shock myself, cuz I'd be suddenly attracted to some black guy. Well, I was a faithful wife and I would never even let myself spend much time thinking about it, but since I've been free I have been attracted to 2 black men and a very dark Mexican Doctor.

The first black guy, I ran away from real fast, cuz it scared me so much that I could be so attracted to someone so soon after my separation (I was not even divorced yet), he had beautiful eyes, and looked at me like I was "drop dead gorgeous". Anyway he was quite a bit older than I and when I saw him again after my divorce was final, he was quite ill and I ended up sitting with him when he died (I really barely knew him, but I'm in home health - so that's how that happened).

Then the Mexican Doctor, we talked a lot but never dated. Just a very strong mutual attraction, and a lot in common. I was still way to paranoid of another relationship with anyone, and he knew my ex, he was very encouraging and helped me through a lot, so thanks to him, in part I was able to get over my fears.

Then I met my guy that is currently in Iraq indirectly through the Doctor. I imediately thought he was cute, but I was still working through stuff in me, so it took some time for me to warm up to the idea of dating anyone.

If this doesn't work out, I do think I'll look for a black guy in the long run, cuz they are just soooo..... freaking cute.

I don't know when my attraction started, but I did notice it near the end of high school and when I started college. I was always attracted to guys with darker features, the only two men with light features that I'm attracted to are David Beckham and Brad Pitt haha...

My dad isn't white and my mom doesn't have any brothers so I wasn't really around white men a whole lot during my life. And I'm an Army kid, so I was always around different types of people from all over the world...

I can't explain it, things like attraction just happen. :smt102

I just notice black men more, I can't help it!

I don't see it as a fascination or that it could 'start' anywhere except sexual maturity and have always been attracted to men of all races.

I personally think there is something not quite right about you, in your earlier post we lost our status of women and merely became females, the second one you are chucking around snowbunny, which ive noticed you have thrown in on a few other threads, almost like you dont think people will notice your insult:(

And you know what, your overall tone to men that do go out with ww is condescending, and the thread about the Mother/ Daughter issue is sounding like cock an bull, ie just to make a point that whitewomen may sell off there daughters for the sake of a decent match, overall im not keen on you at alll :smt011

I really don't have a preference for a specific race of woman. I think all women are beautiful. But my first crush in my entire life was to a White woman. I am a huge fan of metal, punk rock, industrial, and underground rap music. Being so, most Black women think I'm a total cornball. Sometimes it seems that all I can attract is white women. Which I don't have a problem with. Its not really a fascination with White women per se.

Im sorry i shouldn't be here but I was bored and its winter vacation. I have read a lot of posts on this thread and on other forums of this site.

I am a 17 yr old black girl, and I think its sad that a lot of u guys say mean things about black women. U say that black women are ugly, and black women are not, I have always been told by my family and friends that I am pretty. Its sad and it hurts to here a lot of u black guys say that, and that we have attitudes. When its not true.

why are u guys so mean for part2

U guys worship women that don't resemble you in any way, and talk bad about black women that share a lot of physical characteristics with u, its sad. When I came on here my confidence dropped to a low. I don't understand how anyone can feel so strongly for or agianst someone just because of their race, or skin tone.
