very reminiscent of this one time I was in a movie theatre, during a scene in Jungle Fever...black women loudly applauded one of the black female actress' quotes: I have to paraphrase but she said all white women are dogs. This was during a conversation between 4 black women, supporting this other who found out that her husband had an affair with his co-worker, a white woman.

Of course I can see that instance in which there was a reaction in wanting to Beyonce to kill the woman who is after her man. Unfortunately, she, with her attitude and personality and hanging around with thug rappers (in and out of the recording studio), is undeservedly being respected and loved by black women. She is what black women should not act and look like; Vanessa Williams (excluding that Penthouse deal) and what Diahann Carroll was well back in the day are what black women are supposed to be: confident, attractive, and yearning to be respected without subjecting themselves to be dissed and treated like dirt as well as dominated by men.

Mike, you're full of crap. Beyonce is the closest thing in this era to the beautiful, glamorous BW of yesteryear and quite possibly the finest BW on the planet right now. And have you heard her talk with that Southern twang, yet so beautifully articulate? OMG. You need to quit.

Beyonce, with the company she hangs around with business and recreation wise, it's close to impossible to call her beautiful. Ever notice how black women are being treated in hip-hop videos and songs? And look at them in gang-related magazines?
