Uhuh, it's Glaswegian. Just accept it woman! I'm always right, anyways...

I agree, I was out of my moms place the day I turned 18. Best decision I've ever made.

Wish I coulda done that at 18. I'd say to my mom "fuck you, I'm out". Or just the "I'm out part".

I said 'fuck you, I'm out' I just said the first half in my head. After I moved out, it was a good 4 or 5 years, before we so much as said 'hi' again.

That's HELLA long. I'd love to not speak to my mom for 5 years, but the rest of my family wouldn't be havin' it. They'd get on me nonstop for that, plus my dad wants me to be nice and tolerate my mom because "god is watching me". I just try to tolerate her shit so I don't upset my dad. Plus, it would be another excuse for my mom's friends talk shit about me like they know me. Ahh fuck her friends.

I came home from work last night. My girl had already wrapped my presents and told me I could open one of them. I opened the smallest one and found it to be an 8 gig mp3 player :p. She said she couldn't wait so she wanted me to open all of them. She got me a hoodie, then a gym bag, and to top all of it off, a new computer monitor :). I wasn't expecting any of this. It was very nice:smt045

BULL- CRAP, sorry Ajax, I just can't stand complainers, where there's a will there's a way, you could move out if you wanted to bad enough, so shut up and quit complaining, you can shop for the groceries, and so can your dad. You said yourself that she gets a "disability check" well i'm sure there's a reason for that.

Get over your spoiled attitude, and do what you want to do in life, don't let her ruin another day. You have the choice to be happy, as soon as you make it.

You sound like a kid that doesn't want to grow up and somehow thinks his mother "owes" him everything. If she didn't buy you ticket, hitch hike, take a bus, get a job, what ever, it's your life and you sit around waiting on your mom who is disabled to do everything for you.

Sorry, You do not get my sympathy!!

I got her some things that she needed, like a matching bra and pantie set, some more bras, some more panties, a ladies Cleveland Cavaliers shirt with Lebron James's name on the back, and some pants. The pants were too short so I had to take them back. I gave her the money so she can buy what she wants to with it

I know I didn't get her a lot but I didn't have a lot of money and I have bills that I need to pay. But she loves the presents :D

Its not about how many gifts you get or how much money you spent, its the thought behind the gifts and it sounds like you put a lot of thought into it. And as long as she loves them that's all that counts.

Eh, can't really get mad for you not agreeing with me. Yup, she gets a disability check, even though she can stay out for 12 hours, shopping n' shit shit, and come back home at 6 in the morning, but can't go to work and type on a computer and talk on the phone, but whatever. And also abuse her disability income by doing physical things that disabled people shouldn't be doing. And I wonder why there's people watching our house, just posted up down the street. And no, I don't think she owes me everything. If I did, I would accept everything she has tried, every time, when most of the time I don't want it. Maybe when my mom stops bullshitting around and saying she's gonna do something, when she ends up not doing it, I'll stop bitching. Not small shit like driving me some place, but shit like grocery shopping, getter her car tire fixed, getting our garage door fixed. Shit yeah my dad could do the grocery shopping, quicker than her too, and he's legally fucking blind, but she insists on going grocery shopping so she can stop at 4 other places on the way home and buy shit she don't need.
