Ok I have a really life situation...need some feed back

she doesnt seem like a controlling type...actually the mother seems a bit reserved and young behaving if you know what I mean...and supposedly the daughter is the one that expressed the interest, is the one that prompted her mother to give me the number...

 

Im not sure what to tell you then.. I just think it is a little akward if the mother just meant you and then prompts you to call her 19 year old daughter to take out on a date. No offense either it just seems a little suspisious to me i would just be careful because like someone else said, dating in the workplace especially family can be very very bad.....

 

Here is my take,

1. The daughter probably wants an older/mature black guy
2. Mom wants to set her daughter with rich guy = MD
3. She is 19 and you are 35, so what is the big deal? Hefner dates women 60 yrs younger than his ass. My family doctor is 57 and his second wife is a 24 yo nurse. You are my cousin's age, he is a professional with some money and has no problem dating women 14 yrs younger than his behind. So why should this be a problem for you?
4. If the girl is hot take her out, if she is not mature enough for you, move on.
5. But Do not date the mom. I know nurses, they are very territorial, worse than a cat. So, if you like your job don't fkkk with the mom

By the way, I am not in my thrities yet but I do know 35 is not old and it is not middle age. In America, Life begins at 40.

Then i say, go with your gut instinct. If you want to take her out, then take her out if she is not right for you then move on like someone else said. It is worth a try i would just becareful because the mom works with you and if you date her and it doesnt work out she could make your life miserable.

Not saying there is anything wrong with a 19 year old and a 35 year old...I think what makes me super hesitant is that they are white...I dont know how to explain it, I just dont feel like I dont have an understanding with a white person like that...I have a hump I will have to cross with white women in general which I havent done yet...and this one is young, and being presented by her mom...making things strange for me...

It is not that serious at this point...I just have the number her and I dont know what to do with it...if I dont call her, will the mother give me the cold eye...if I call and purposefully make the convo in such a fashion that the girl would lose interest...and thirdly, can I actually persue this??

maybe I should just call and just talk...the bullshyt will eventually fall through

Just be nice about it and tell her at this time you are not interested you want to focus more on your job and you are just not ready for the relationship thing. If the mother gives you the cold-eye then you know it was never meant to be her mother must have had other actions she wanted to go with the hole thing if ya know what i mean

Take the lady out. Some 19 yos are much more mature than 30 something yos. It is not the age that counts, but the mileage.

yeah I hear you...I never do either...but really I wouldnt be working with her...I think her mother works their only a few days a month...I am only there like three or two days a month...I dont work for the hospital or anything I am my own company there

Sir Nice, I think you've hit the nail on the head with this. She's maybe setting her daughter up to be taken care of by the handsome doctor. Do you think she'd set her 19 year old daughter up with a 35 year old hospital janitor?

Personally...as a mom of a 20 year old and 16 year old (younger children too) there is no way in hell I would do what this mom is doing.

But for me the bigger question is why would a 35 year old established man be interested? And obviously you are.

I agree with Athena. My first reaction was, mom sees an older successful guy, daughter already dates black guys, pawn her off on you and she'll be set. I definitely would leave this situation alone.

to me, there are two types of females....grown and kids....if you are grown I am interested....if you are a kid then I am not...it is just that simple...I date 20 year olds no problem
