Thank you, but I only put them up because of the lips thread in the ladies room and they'll be back down again come Monday. I don't know, feels a bit too presumptuous.

 

It was good while it lasted. So, I guess I'll keep my eye out for someone in the ladies room to start a hair thread or eyes thread.

How is your man doing in Iraq? Will he get some of your baked goodies?

 

He's doing great thank you, he already got his goodies, said he was going to open his package this weekend, I haven't heard from him since he opened it.

Here's an odd question for society and perhaps women specifically.

In my completely non-scientific observations of dating sites and personal ads (the ones on wwbm) I have noticed that there seems to be many more women willing to show explicit or at the very least suggestive photos of themselves than men on the sites.

Has anyone else noticed this? I find it odd because in many other species, it's the males that have to put on a show for the females, e.g. ducks, moose....

Maybe I'm just too much of an equalitarian where I want to see as much suggestiveness from the men, lol! :smt002

 

Ah! I can't say I ever thought of that. I haven't noticed but I don't visit any dating sites. Maybe because they say men are more visual than women? :smt102

 

I've had my time on dating sites and it's definitely true. Not just on dating sites but on sites that have general profiles too. The thing that's interesting is that usually the women will complain in the text about men just wanting sex but then they have their breasts or butt hanging out. There are lots of men out there with their shirts off too. But of course, it's not quite the same. There are usually more men on the dating sites than women. Women tend to get many more responses than men from what I've gathered from my own experiences and in talking with others. Men tend to give you more of a rundown of their portfolio. It's funny because men are so visual but often times they will have very bad quality photos on their profiles and not very many. So they want to see lots of pics but they often don't think to provide many. Then there are those who will have tons of photos and send you one every time they email you!

From what I've heard, women who are interested in relationships tend to shy away from the men with the shirtless poses or laying across the bed and such.
