According to research, the people you attracted to depends on the your testerone levels in your body. Read this article from the independent newspaper.

Women with high levels of testosterone are more attracted to masculine-looking men like James Bond actor Daniel Craig, scientists said today.
Meanwhile men, whose levels of the hormone are increased, are more attracted to feminine faces like Hollywood actress Natalie Portman.

Researchers at Aberdeen University Face Research Laboratory carried out the first study into the role testosterone plays in attraction between the sexes.

During the study, men and women completed four test sessions each conducted a week apart. In each session volunteers provided a saliva sample which was used to measure testosterone levels.

Researchers found that when asked to choose between different types of faces in each session, the subjects' attitudes changed depending on their testosterone level.

Dr Ben Jones, a psychology lecturer at the university, said: "Since masculine men and feminine women are thought to produce the healthiest children and sex drive is higher when testosterone levels are also high, these findings suggest that men and women in hormonal states where their interest in sex is highest show stronger attraction to high-quality - or healthy - mates."

Fellow researcher Dr Lisa Welling said: "We tend to think that attraction is relatively stable over time.

"However, our research shows that attraction is affected by fluctuations in testosterone levels."

Read about this somewhere, it's interesting. ^_^
Although it begs the question of how homosexual selection of partner is made.. I'm betting it's still the same selection system though.

She's not voluptuous, but having a cute feminine face can be more than enough.

I would agree, but on a primal, reptilian-brain level more than other levels of attraction ie; personality, social status etc.

    Hm.
It's weird, because when I'm attracted to a white or an asian guy, I always like masculine white guys (ie Daniel Craig) but when it comes to black guys, I do like 'pretty boys' more. Maybe it's because black men with softer features are still masculine, whereas white pretty boys are like what, Zac Effron? No thanks :|

He is way too feminine. I fail to see his appeal.

On another board someone posted a link to a site where you can combine your picture with another persons and see what your e-baby would look like. I was surprised to see Zac Efron held the top spot??!! Surprising. Give me a manly guy anyday. http://www.makemebabies.com/
