Yep id like to know is it true that mostly all american drivers, drive automatic transmission cars, or is it a myth ?

Not that serious but id like to know

 

I don't know about all Americans, but this American only drive automatic transmission . I'm not trying to think about shifting gears while I'm drivin

 

I'm Canadian and I drive a standard. It's the third one that I've owned.

 

All the Americans I know do. "Stick shifts" are not very popular here from what my own experience tells me.

 

I drive both, and most of the people I know do, my mom at age (69) has finally decided she prefers the luxury of an automatic, because she has bad knees, most persons with disabilities do drive automatics.

I tried to make sure all my kids knew how to drive both because even if they preferred an automatic, they may have to drive a standard at times, but one son never learned, and so I couldn't loan him my car ever.

I know a lot of the trucks and small compacts are standard off the lot, so a lot of folks still drive standard, or stick as we call it here in AZ.

A QUESTION THAT I WOULD ASK SOCIETY IS HOW COME SOME PEOPLE CAN GO SHOPPING OR RESTERAUNTS IN PUBLIC KNOWING THAT THEY MAY SMELL BECAUSE THEY HAVENT TAKEN A SHOWER IN AWHILE.
