You got family in Cleveland? I used to live there until four years ago when I came to Akron to start school. Most of my family and friends are there .

For the love of God, please tell your family to meet you in Georgia :p. The weather's too crappy here in Ohio. I hate it so much. I am not cut out for this shit lol

We're snowed in today. School was cancelled (and I had a final exam to take and it's postponed, YAY!) and work is cancelled. I guess you guys will see a lot of posts from me today!:D:smt111

Same here! My work never closes for snow. I've driven to work in worse snow than what we have right now. But, all of the hype must have gotten to them. I'm not complaining!! My daughter is enjoying the extra day of Christmas break she got today.

Well, I just came in from outside. My daughter, who last year didn't even want her boots touching the snow, can't get enough of playing in it this year. It's amazing how things change from year to year with kids. So, I shovelled, while she played.

Now, I'm going to shower and watch a movie and relax. Tonight, the directors in my office through a holiday party for us, and so I'll be going to that. Whirlyball. I hate whirlyball (bad experience years ago), but I'm going to give it a shot again.

Tomorrow I'll be attempting to make gingerbread men cookies. First time!!

    You?

There has been, and continues to be, a deep freeze in my province. I went skiing in Banff and even though my ski wax is rated to -20 degrees celsius (-4 F) and below, it was still sticking to the snow and I had to "walk" down part of a black diamond run. Crazy!
    It's currently -29 C (-20 F) this morning.

It's raining, it's stormy AND there is a huge riot in the next neighbourhood where the youngsters just found a new hobby: Burning cars and breaking windows. I love december! WOoohaA. Nothing like a little christmas spirit to cheer people on.

I like cold and snow, so there doesn't seem to be enough of it here. We average 20 inches of snow per year in STL. We haven't had a big snow yet this season.
