Co-sign. Agree that Beyonce is very attractive and pretty good singer. For acting- well let just say it needs lots of work
Agreed. Every musician thinks they can act :smt102. It would be like every actor/actress thinking they can do music
Well...y'all got some IR action here. I should note that the producers of this flick are Black...and based out of the ATL. But, the director is white. Y'all can be rest assured that there will be more IR action in movies cummin' down the pike in the near future...it's Obama Time! The Kid Rasta
God, you and Noble are setting the bar high for this board. Just because a president is black doesn't mean shit. And I'm beginning to think the only reason you wanted him elected because you have a perception that white women will magically flock to black men.. Wake the fuck up dude.
Since you mentioned my name I feel I need to respond by saying that I am overjoyed indeed that my brotha Barack Obama will soon be the man in charge because HE IS THE BEST MAN FOR THE JOB & BECAUSE HE'S BLACK TOO! I make now apologizes for that! But also whether he would have won or not doesn't make a bit of difference as far as white women that are into black men are concerned, meaning they'll continue to CUM:smt119 either way playa! BETTER RECOGNIZE!:smt080
More like setting the bar for this movie way too high. It doesn't matter what races the producers and director are. Reading about the producers are realistically into bad music, and a director I have never heard of before, this movie is going to be terrible anyway based on the acting, or lack of decent acting talent. And back to Beyonce'. It's beyond me why dreadful and ugly music artists like herself have movie roles handed to them; she has zero acting ability and talent. There are a lot of actresses out there who have been trying to find decent work, instead of just finding guest starring roles in TV shows for several years, while the likes of Beyonce', Justin Timberlake, and I'll mention the thug rappers on here, continue to have roles handed to them. This is why the acting in movies (and the movies themselves) is not as good as it used to be. Overrated, arrogant, and untalented musicians like the ones I mentioned don't deserve to be handed roles that real actors and actresses have been wanting to get.
Enough of celebrating Obama's victory. I was happy that he won, but it's time to go to work. Back to this topic. I don't know if I mentioned this here or not, but another reason why this movie won't do very well is the release date, April. Around the time people don't go to movie theatres unless another Harry Potter sequel comes out. And Beyonce' is not all that with acting and talent and beauty. Too bad she hangs around with someone who acts like he is one of the Goodfellas or a crime lord leader (musically speaking).
I never heard of Ali myself. This movie would have been viewed differently if say, better and more experienced actors were involved. It would be more interesting if say a Jodie Foster or Hilary Swank (2 excellent actresses) would play the part of the temp, and 2 other real black actors portray the married couple; there are black actors and actresses out there that have been trying to get movie roles for the longest, but instead, those who have absolutely no business being in acting (like Beyonce), get automatically chosen for these roles.
OKAY, OKAY...you & others have made these points over & over so should Idris, Ali, & Bey have turned down these roles so that so-called more experienced actors could have them?!:smt107 GET REAL!!!:x
This is about the be the loudest movie theater ever with every black woman screaming for Beyonce to kill dat white woman lol!
So wait, Idris isn't a "real black actor"? Why? Because you say so, or because he had the nerve to star alongside Beyonce, someone who you apparently can't stand? I've never actually seen The Wire myself, but I've heard he's actually a very strong actor with a small but loyal audience that love him in his various roles.
I need to see a well-known actor who has been in movies for while, not in the level as Denzel and Sam Jackson are per se, but respectable and recognizable enough. I never heard of this guy who plays the husband who is being terrorized either, and it appears to me unfortunately the star of this movie will be some awful and unattractive pop music star who has absolutely no acting talent and really has no business starring in movies. I'm just grown sick and tired of seeing experienced actors and actresses continue to get passed over for these dreadful music artists these days who, like Beyonce, have no positive accolades for acting, and get roles just because they are famous for other things besides acting.
