And most of them have ads like "clikv HERE claim YORU PLIRE 300 00000000" somewhere hidden. ^^
I trust the psychiatrist testing a bit more then IQ tests. Psychatrists don't have blinkin ads hangin over there heads, or apps on facebook. (or do they...?)

But yeah, paper tests are way more reliable.

No they dont ive never seen anything remotely reliable having an add for a Audi A4 at the top of it either lol
If the site dont look serious i aint bothering, im quite happy with what i got 10 yrs ago im clinging on to it lol, my point about IQ was that school smarts has no bearing on someones IQ, Black Master Jay does not realise this obviously which makes me think he a bit dense in some ways even if its not in math lol:smt079

There are some dodgy IQ sites but that one seemed somewhat reliable, besides, we're only on a forum, it's not like we need something super reliable. The BBC Test The Nation one is good too. It's just a bit of fun. I did a paper one a couple years ago and I got 118 and on that one I got 121, so it's pretty accurate.

BlackMasterJay may be a bit of a dick sometimes (sorry) but I don't think he is dense.

UHmmm as i said in just this area Sarah, i find him intensely amusing most of the time, arent we jumping to conclusions a lil bit hey?
Come on online IQ, just cus it happened to cater to your needs does not mean its universal, you said so yourself in an earlier post ;)

Is it ok for everyone if I don't do an english IQ-test since I would epic fail it? Or do you need hard proof that I'm brainy? Maybe I can ask some psychologist to youtube a statement? lol

It's not like IQ measures how good you are. Like, No one is better then anyone else, it just places you on a scale according to your ability to make logical conclusions fast.

Yeah. Nothing glamourous about the field. A degree is not really necessary for what I do but its preffered. The certificate helps because its ABA approved, so you may have an advantage. The only downside is that its hard to get into the field w/o any experience. I was lucky enough to know someone who helped me get my current job. When you get out you can try applying to Jackson Lewis. My friend is an associate there and tells me they are looking for paralegals. I turned his offer down since I know I'm leaving in a year. How does C++ figure into Legal Studies? I remember "taking" it in high school. All I did in that class was download and play video games off an emulator.

I appreciate the info. Actually, I'm so fortunate that the firm where I intern, wants to keep me. I do immigration law, and I really like it. I love the interactions with the clients, and the clients tend to like me. Let me tell you about this older lady from Georgia (Georgia the country, not the state) who slipped an envelope with money right into my shirt:shock: - it was not a bribe! it was a gift! That's how much she liked me. And she wouldn't take it back. I took it out and put it in her pocket. She took it right out and back into my shirt.

But the immigration court cases are hard to win. The Newark immigration bench are a tough bunch of judges. Seven of them, and two more in Elizabeth.

About C++ - I just need two tech literacy courses. C++ is probably what I'm going to take, unless someone can suggest something easier.

    Shut the fuck up........

The one you did at school was proposed to judge the average persons intelligence. This test(hence HIGHIQSOCIETY) is meant to judge a person of higher thinking speed.

Only people like sarah, and raocha over there should be taking thsi test. NOT you....you shoudl stick to the ones you took at school.....it was obviously designed for simpletons..

Oh, a school thread! I guess I'll make this my first post other than my intro one...
I'm about to graduate with a bachelor's degree in biomedical sciences ( in 2 weeks!)...yes, I'm a major nerd! I plan on dental school being the next step.
I love science...well except for chemistry and physics...
I read that someone isn't all that great at math...me either, it was always my worst subject.
And I hate to sound like a know it all, but that picture of cockroaches is actually a picture of giant water bugs, they're in the order Hemiptera whereas roaches are in the order Blattaria...blame my pointless semester of medical entomology...I can sight identify ticks and flies, completely useless!

Certainly not pointless if you knew that like an entomological version of Jane Goodall, and welcome.

I interned with a Plaintiff's attorney and I agree that client interaction is one of the best part of the job. I work for an insurance defense firm so our client is basically Shop-Rite. It's good to know that you're helping people. I was at a seminar at UCONN Law last month and one of the guest speakers, a state supreme court justice, said it best when he described what is necessary to succeed in the legal field - a desire to serve others. True, indeed. I'm glad to hear that you enjoy what you do. You seem like you will do very well. Good luck.

You don't sound very excited. Are you moving on to another career later?

Oh I'm excited. I'm looking forward to what the new year has in store. I like what I do but it's definitely more fulfilling to help people vs. helping a corporation. I don't want to continue doing Civil (yawn) Litigation forever. I plan on becoming an Employment attorney or, maybe, even an Entertainment attorney. If I was completely unhappy with my job I would've quit a long time ago. When I was 23 I quit my first job after only less than 3 weeks. I debated whether I saw myself doing it (account executive) for the rest of my life and I had an epiphany. I walked away from pretty good money and the chance to travel the country on someone else's dime because I just hated going in to work every day. I definitely do not feel the same way about my current job, even if it is quite demanding. Plus, I am gaining essential contacts and experience.

I have a B.S. in Mathematics with a minor in Accounting. I have passed my Certified Public Accounting (CPA) exam, and I'm a partner in a public accounting firm. I'm quite pleased with my education and what I'm doing professionally. I don't think that a formal education is for everyone, but I do feel that some sort of specialized training is required to make it in the world today. Good luck to all of you that are still in school. :D

B.A. in Mathematics (fewer math courses required and more humanities than GirlyGirls' B.S., at least at The University of Texas at Austin.

Later I earned an MBA from Oklahoma City University.

I'm not really not sure what I want to be. I would really like to be a book writer and do med billing & coding. But my true job that I want is to be a house wife & mother. I don't think that one is going to come true.
