So what's your favourite concert you've been to?

I am guilty of going to a lot of shows, some of the ones this year have been...
-50 Cent & Fabolous lol, I don't like Fiddy but I was bored. Meh.
-Method Man & Redman.
-Wu Tang Clan.
-Jay Z, Rhymefest, Mark Ronson, Wiley, Wale, Memphis Bleek.
-Dizzee Rascal x2.
-N*E*R*D and Chester French.
-GZA.
-Kanye West, Santogold, Kid Cudi, Consequence.
-RZA as Bobby Digital (just a dj set in a club basically).

They were all pretty good. My favourite was N*E*R*D because I got to dance on stage. I got an aftershow pass. Good night. Plus I got a hug from Pharrell which was nice, plus on the song She Wants to Move Shae slapped my ass.

'Course seeing The Wu was good too. Got The Game coming up on the 13th then d12, Obie and Royce da 5'9 on the 20th. Not many good people come up to Scotland when they go to the UK so I basically go to any half decent hip hop show that comes here, except Wu Tang, went to London to see them.

Oh well, so yeah, you going to see anyone soon? What's your favourite show you've been to?

I've only been to like 4 concerts.

1.That scream tour shit with bow wow and b2k(yeah, remember them?). This was like the first scream tour shit, hella years ago. I was back in like 6th grade, but my aunt got free tickets and it was in the fancy box balcony seats n' shit.

2.This punk rock concert with my cousin in Pamona a few years ago. Shit was hella fun. I don't listen to punk rock but it was a fun ass concert.

3.Earth Wind and Fire concert the summer before this last summer. Place was JUMPIN'. Best concert.

Haven't been to any other concerts. The rappers I listen to don't do shows, or do shows around my area. I do want to go to one of the old school jam concerts that's held at Arco Arena every year. It's got people like Newcleus, Digital Underground, Tone Loc, n' others.

 

Lol didn't take you for a Bow Wow and B2K fan. Yeah, I rememer them, they were good! :mrgreen: I maybe have the Bow Wow/Omarion CD.
The first concert I ever went to was Spice Girls, then S Club 7 so it's all good. Only reason I really went to see 50 was cause it was in Aberdeen so I thought "what the heck." It wasn't too bad, I have to admit.
Digital Underground are good, that sounds like it would be a blast. I was going to go to UK Rock The Bells but they cancelled it due to slow ticket sales, Mos Def, Nas, Pharcyde and Scratch as well... I was totally gutted. Oh well, maybe next year. I've been to some punky kinda shows and there's too much moving around for me. Too much pushing and shit. I went to see Korn back in like... 2001/2002? and there was way too much moving around there, there was like a mosh pit type thing. I tried to not get involved. Those moving around type shows tend to be sweaty and too hot. I remember my friend went to see a band called muse and she got pissed on :|.
I might go see Chris Brown, he's coming here early next year, I have a feeling the place would be full of horny girls throwing their panties at him... poor Pharrell got COVERED in panties and bras when he was here. My sister will probs make me go. Concerts are fun, clubs get boring so it's something different

I'm going to a classical music performance this month. "Messiah" composed by Frideric Handel.

 

Cool. I've never seen The Nutcracker but might check it out this year if I hear about a good performance of it.

My last concert was The Living Legends in Boulder, CO. I had a great time and the energy was out of this world!!

 

Oh naw, I wasn't a b2k fan or anything. I didn't want to go to the concert, but me and my cousin had to. I did like bow wow back in like 5th grade. Sucks that they cancelled the Rock the Bells show. I loved the punk show I was at, because mufuckas get hella physical and bumpin' each other in the pit. Good times. Damn, though, if I somebody pissed on me at a show, me and him would be fighting. I feel kinda bad for pharrell. Covered in panties n' shit. I would fel hela filthy. I wouldn't want underwear hanging of every part of my body n' shit. Clubs are pretty much boring. I just like seeing the fine honeys there. But I hate "dancing" these days. I don't call grinding on a mufucka, dancing.

 

I saw Cannibal Corpse in '96, Limp Bizkit, Sevendust, and Clutch in '98, I've seen Mushroomhead at least a hundred times

I will someday. I don't even know if I like music any more And while ya'll are talking about music, I don't even know what you are talking about. WTF right? I know. Sheesh. I guess I'm stuck in some twilight zone or something.

Let's see...I've only been to three actual concerts (not counting very, very local bands no one will ever recognize), but two were festival type things that had lots of bands.

Nine Inch Nails was orgasmic. Saw em in August. Put a thread on here about it somewhere.

 

IMO, those are the best shows to go to as opposed to the major label prima-donnas who charge $50+ and give half assed performances.

and we saw Return To Forever this past summer which was my first concert in years!:rock:

 

I've only seen Nas in concert.

Been to some UCLA reggae festivals.

And saw New Found Glory in high school.

 

In 07-08:

Stevie Wonder, Earth Wind & Fire, Temptations, Van Halen/Marley, Journey/Def Leppard, Aerosmith/Hinder, BB King/Etta James/Al Greene, Billy Joel, TSO, Motley Crue/Poppa Roach/Sixx whatever and a couple others that were there that I can't think of right now, hmmm I think I may be missing a couple.

I was supposed to see Mary J and Jay Z but they got snowed in and had to reschedule and I couldn't go back.

I love concerts!
