I have some advice for serious black men that are still young.

There are alot of people that dont really like mature black men, reguardless of what politically correct things they will tell you. This dislike can even come from your fellow black women and men.

They would rather BM fit into a variation of three certain boxes whether it be negative or positive-

Box 1. A decent guy--- but an entertaining, fun, boyish acting mandigo with "enough" but not too much direction in life.

Box 2. the usual negative stereotypes

Box 3. some sort of last option for something, whether it be relationship or whatever.

Now this may be from too much Media, Hip-hop or from Americas history, but a young black man thats actually mature and beyond all this can find himself in a strange catch 22 if he is not careful.

My advice to a young mature black man that is actually taking his life seriously would be to avoid these certain kinds of people at the first signs even if they want to see you as the more "positive" box 1 I listed. They dont have your overall best interest in mind.

Just some advice on what to watch out for.

Right... Now what would be helpful is how to identify them... A hater is a hater is a hater. Like you said Regardless of race I don't understand the point of this post?

These people arent that hard to identify especially when you get to talking to them, but if you're not actually looking for it some can be hard to detect because these people may not even be racists or "haters" in fact they may even be a huge fan if you fall into a certain box.

The point of this thread is directly in the thead title and in the actual post - "just some advice".

    Living and observing.
