    Don't Smoke away Your Life

How to enjoy a smoke-free life

    By Denessa Bachelor

Everyone knows that smoking is harmful. But even if we never smoke, we can still get “smoker's” diseases. According to the American Cancer Society, there are 60 cancer-causing chemicals in secondhand tobacco smoke.

The passing of Dana Reeve, widow of Christopher Reeve, reminds us that smoking doesn't just harm smokers. Dana Reeve, for example, spent years singing in smoke-filled nightclubs.

Even second-hand smoke causes cancers such as kidney, cervical, pancreatic and stomach. Other diseases include pneumonia, cataracts, acute myeloid leukemia, and aortic aneurysm. Tobacco smoke may also cause premature aging and impotence.

If you smoke, don't give up hope. You can reverse much of the damage if you stop. Some ways to quit are to:
    • Join a support group that encourages your goal.
    • Ask friends and family not to smoke around you.
    • Use a cigarette brand with low levels of nicotine before quitting altogether.
    • Change your habits so you won't get the urge to smoke. For example, alcohol, sugar or coffee can stimulate the desire to smoke.
    • Use nicotine patches, gum, nasal sprays and other aides
    • Consider all of the advantages of quitting.

Besides the health advantages, you can save plenty of money. You can feel good about your health. You won't be troubled by shortness of breath or by stained teeth or skin. You won't bother others with your secondhand smoke. In sum, you'll feel better about yourself, and others will too.

One day I would like to, believe me. I just don't have the effort to put into quitting right now

My friends saw this electric cig in the mall for sale last week. It's pretty cool. It has non of the rat piss poison and all the other bad shit. You can legally smoke it in places you wouldn't be allowed to smoke regular cigs in. And it doesn't smell. It's just vapor. You still get the nicotine too.

All I want for Christmas is to get people gifts. That's going to be hard, with the economy and all. (plus I want a camcorder:D)

Not right now. But someday! :p I also have a thousand other things too. Chantix, http://www.buynicfix.com, http://www.cigarrest.com, http://www.zerosmokeusa.com, http://www.becomeanex.org. I also wanted to try Hypnosis, and there's also this medication that I think is for depression, but it also helps you stop smoking - I've seen it spelled like: buproprion and bupropion. And when I get money and get a doctor I'm going to ask my doctor about it. :D
