See it's funny you should say that. The people in your country have that Nordic temperament, right?

My best friend is from Estonia where people are known for their extreme Nordic calm. When she was younger she said there was this guy who looked at her... but never approached. She approached him... and got rejected. She said since then she's not approaching a man again. No matter how laid back, no matter how shy or quiet, he'll do the work if he's interested. Now she's into hot-blooded Italians though... enough of the Nordic men I guess.

There was a guy at my old job, he was from Norway. Huge tall blond guy. I have never seen him worked up or emotional about anything. We all thought our job was stressful... he didn't. He was laid back and peaceful at all times. And sometimes I'd hear him sing "la la la" to himself.

I've heard of Bloor-Yonge in Toronto old city. I've never been to Canada but I'll hit up Toronto... as soon as I have a full-time job. Heard it's a nice spot to go partying for New Year. Just gotta try to stay warm.

You see, that's one of the reasons why I initially asked you questions about yourself. I've read many of your posts, and from them, I gather you're probably not American? Because, some of the things said on these boards, you seem to take a "different" way.

Here's a quick explanation of what I mean,

Here in America, there is a saying that goes, (a person has gotten their ass chewed off), which means, they got told off, or ribbed, as the Brits may put it. So my little off beat humor, led me to say (in a round-a-bout way), that you chewed my ass off, when you thought I was attempting to chat you up. And now that we have come to the understanding that it was not my intention to chat you up, all's well, and I'll respectfully go away now, refrain from asking you anymore questions, and go look for that "piece of ass", which was initially "chewed off" by you.

Overall, I asked about you, in an attempt to better understand you, (a respected forum member), so as to be able to avoid any hostile communication(s) with you in the future.

Oh no, I'm not a hostile one. :smt052 This board is my favorite place to be... until I find a a place in some man's big strong arms. Maybe I get edgy at times... but not getting any... err, being single will do that to ya.

 

I agree, this is a nice place to be, and I, just like you, do feel it's a pleasant forum to interact with likeminded individuals, but to me, it's also a place for us members to become more familiar with eachother, in order to gain a better understanding of eachother, so that when different subjects do come up, we'll all be better able to understand one another in our replies.

I hope you do eventually get some... oops, I meant, end your single days. lol.
