Rep...

I'm curious what everyone else thinks about it. What do you think about it? I'm not sure about it. The last thing on my mind, if on my mind at all, actually, is adding to someone's rep when they post something. I did it a few times, when I first read about it. But now the "Oo! Something new. Let's try it." phase is over, and I just don't ever think about doing it. Am I the only one? What are your thoughts? Do you actually do it (without giving too many details, of course.) I don't know, I kind of think it's silly... :smt102

 

I've tried quite often but only been successful once, so I don't know why it doesn't work for me. I would probably do it more often if it worked.

 

I like it. I've left people rep and I've got some nice rep. You just can't keep leaving rep for the same person, it won't let you. Gotta give it to different people.

 

Hm, weird. All I have to do is click on the white scales then the option/window comes up asking if I approve or disapprove. Then I click which one I want. Then there's a little "text bar" or whatever area where you can type your comment, if you want to. Then just click to send/submit/whatever. Then another window pops up thanking me for adding to whoever's reputation. And that's it.

 

I know how to do it. I did it once, but when I click on the white scales it doesn't open up the option window. It's like the button doesn't work for me. I can report a post and do any number of other things, those options work. I have even asked the webmaster and he told me about the one time it worked, I just don't know why it isn't working, I even thought it was my mouse, but I changed that and it still doesn't work. So I haven't been giving any rep.

 

Hmmmm. Do you have a pop-up blocker? I don't really know what that is. But I remember it gave me the option about pop-up blocker once and my pc whiz brother took care of it. What happens when you click on it?

 

Maybe you're right, I don't know how to enable pop-ups in Mozilla FireFox, I'll have to figure it out.

 

Rep is a time saver. Rather than respond to dumb posts (and there are a few of them on here), I just big up those whom I agree with
