I told you you look like someone painted by botticelli, so dont let him bother you.

As well I will go there with my favourite man, who cooked for my on tuesday, bought me esspresso and kissed me today and tells me that he loves me everytime I see him. Cant wait für the weekend to come. How can he be real?

I am volunteering at a new flight/maintence school for high school kids started by one of the original Tuskeegee Airmen. I am actually quite surprised by the number of girls participating. When I went thru school, us ladies made up about 2 or 3 percent total.

The school is going to rebuild an aircraft and modify it to run on alternative fuel. I would like to get in on this, but my plate is kinda full. Probably wont have the time to dedicate.

...wow, I'm feeling the love today. Thanks, I needed that after all this stress! Hope you have fun at the concert. I saw my favorite band in August, Nine Inch Nails, and it was a damn near religious experience. Absolutely amazing!

After all my worrying, both my video midterm and shit back home seem to hve gone well. Got at least a A- on the test, a definite A on my project, and mom said CPS is backing off after her two meetings. So that's a relief! I celebrated both by going to karaoke with my homegirl, who sorely needed to get out, too. I'm so proud of her. Got her shy ass bold enough to give this gorgeous African dude her number at the bar. My lil girl, all grown up and making the first move n shit. Not to mention I hustled my way into free shots and food all night for both of us :D

I'll chalk this night up to a sucess.

I'm going to Ann Arbor, Michigan to watch my very first game of American Football! Woo Hoo! I can't wait.

Have to go and pack my bag for the weekend. :)
    Yeay for extended holidays.

In other sad news, my freedom is slowly running out. This time next week, I will be with my brother and will be on my way to leaving the USA. :'( Very upset about this. I wish I could stay another six months.

Not where I work. ;-) everybody is calling to get their stuff done befor 6 pm.... as if they did not have the whole week to call and get their stuff ready.

And today- its saturday!- they even call today
and get pissed off when I cannot help them. S.A.T.U.R.D.A.Y.
I mean, people, kiss your partner, have some sex, watch a movie, play with your kids, cook a nice meal, clean the bathroom, call your grandma, take a walk, do some shopping, learn some french, read a book, wash the dishes, paint your toenails, wash your hair, plan the christmas-presents- but stop calling me. Thank you.

Since I have been back to Phoenix, I have joined a bowling league....yesterday for some odd reason I bowled my ass off, I am not
a great bowler by far with an average of 105.....lol

    last night I bowled a 149, 157, and a 120

    how spectacular for me......

    hence my hang over today.....

Well, barring some miracle, I guess I'm not moving to Dallas. :( After long hours of contemplation it's simply clear that financially it's not going to be possible right now.

So I guess I'm sticking around H-town for 9 months, at least. That's how long my lease is gonna be. -_-

I'm just a little bored tonight, missing my guy. He called me Wednesday and it was a wonderfully sweet call, I just wanted it to last longer, and for him to call more often. He'll be in Iraq till July 09.

I would love to go out, but don't really have anyone to go with, and going alone sounds too sad. So I stay home.

A few guys have approached me and I don't really have a commitment to my guy, but no one else interests me, and I really want it to work out with him, so again I stay home.

This board has helped. Any suggestions?

Your profile doesn't say where you are in AZ, but I imagine there is a lot to do if you are anywhere near Phoenix or Tempe.

I'll bet if you went to a night club with a girlfriend you would have a great time dancing with guys you'd meet and not get stuck into any type of awkward situation. Just leave with your girlfriend. Maybe a blues or jazz place that plays live music, vs dance club where you are bound to find more pick up artists.

Well, from the USA, I am heading to the UK to travel for about 6 weeks with the family...Then back to Australia to get some $$ and my UK Visa. The original plan was to stay in the UK at the end of the trip..but my visa issues mean that it won't be happening that way, unfortunately.

I do not want to go home - and I do not want to stop travelling. I meet my little bro in about 5 days...so, as far as I'm concerned, that is the end of my travel..I become a tourist not a traveller after that. Very sad :( I really love the USA and don't want to leave. I am having such fun and learning so much.

That sounds lovely, but I am at least 3 hours from Tempe. If you know where Fort Huachuca is, that's where I am. I don't know of any Jazz or blues places here, maybe on post, and I really do need to learn how to dance. I'll ask around.

My ex-husband would never take me to a dance. His religious beliefs said it was taboo. I don't agree with that. But I never learned because I married him at 17 and I have only been single now for going on 3 years.
