What in the world? This was the slowest Halloween night ever. Only three kids came to our door in the whole entire night. I have all this candy still sitting at the door.

  2. im sure if you leave your candies out like that moskvichka, some handsome black man will want it :)

my son went trick/treating for the first time with friends without a parent...he is 13 years old...it was 80 degrees in denver and one of the nicest evenings...the trick/treaters were out in full force...

i think there were 10 of them all together...all boys...they would have wiped out your bowl of candy with one stop...LOL

I bought so much things for the kids and not ONE person came to my door, well 2 came but they were asking if my little brother was at my house. So I gave them a handful of things each.
The sad thing is becase I had all this spare food I've started eating most of it :( I have no will power.

My kids usually don't trick or treat door-to-door like I did as a kid. They get their candy at Halloween parties.

Yeah that's the same here I think.
I don't know if I'd let my son even go out alone even when he's older with all the creeps going about.
Halloween seems more of an adults holiday over here, there's so much parties going on at every club and they make more of an effort to dress up than the kids.

We had ZERO kids ring at our doorbell.I just moved to a completely different part of Germany. In the area I lived before(Central Germany, less than an hour from Frankfurt) lots of kids came over on Halloween to get some candy.
In this area now(close to the Dutch and Belgium border) thats different.People here are very religious and American culture hasnt spread as much as in the Frankfurt area.

BUT now I am closer to Cologne and thats where the biggest Karneval parades and parties take place.Lol

Is Australia the only country in the world that doesn't celebrate Halloween?

I was in Steamboat Springs. They shut the mains street down and it was really good. So nice seeing everone getting into it! :D
