Five days left y'all. McFossil & Mooseburger are gonna get kicked to the curb come Tues. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/huff-wires/20081029/road-to-270/ More here: http://blogs.chicagotribune.com/new...asons-barack-obama-will-win-next-tuesday.html The Kid Rasta
I am not convinced until Tuesday night is over this is a racist country and I pray to God Obama can win.
I'm with Elklodge. I've been optimistic about Obama's chances since Super Tuesday, but I don't think that I'll really believe it until I see it happen.
Co-sicily!!! When it is etched in stone and he clinches the necessary 270 electoral votes, then and only then will I celebrate in triumph. Just like when I'm watching a ball-game, I start cheering only when I see (0:00) and I hear a buzzer or a gun signaling that the game is over. I was at the free Jay-Z concert/Obama rally in Cleveland last night, that was both historical and the icing on the cake as far as I'm concerned.:smt045
Recent polls show McCain is closing FAST. Obama's polls are slowly decreasing but overall he's going to have the most electoral votes and he's really popular. But anything these days can happen until Tuesday.
The polls are all over the place. Yesterday, Obama was supposedly down to 3% and 2% leads in Rasmussen and Gallup survey of likely voters respectively. Now, he's back up 5% and 8% in those polls. Today, there's a poll saying he only has a 4 point lead in Pennsylvania, but another one says that he's within 6 points of McCain in ARIZONA. Frankly, I have no idea what to believe.
I'll celebrate after McCain & Palin win on Tuesday, you all know that, but if Obama wins, I will still believe in democracy. I am also concerned about the machines and all the other issues with possible voter fraud. I hope if McCain wins Obama doesn't want to count all the hanging chads. If America elects Obama, then only those who voted, have a right to complain it they don't like what he does. So by all means get out and VOTE:
I think it will be worse than that if McCain upsets Obama. I think there will be riots in the streets ala Rodney King.
