Me too. My little brother watches BET religiously, but i really hate it. They have a channel that's supposed to be dedicated to black people, and all they play is rap videos all day long? Such a waste. My hats off to Master P for putting together a more uplifting channel for black people. I'll definitely be tuning in, hoping for some changes from the crap that BET puts on tv.
Look on the bright side, at least "rap shitty" got canceled last week(even though there will still be a flood of crap on that channel). Back in like 97 98, when me and my cousin were die hard No Limit fans in 3rd or 4th grade, we would never have expected P to go the positive route. Those were the days. I respect P more now though than I did back in the day. He's come a long way from starting his record company out in Sac, to starting up a positive tv station.

Should Master P's channel get up and running, no one will watch the positive programming and they will slowly go the BET route just to stay afloat. I remember when BET had news and talk shows (Tavis started at BET) and nobody watched.
BET I remember BET when it had Bev Smith,BET News,Black pundits on Sunday,etc I never watch it. Remember it had "Hot Ghetto Mess" three years ago with Eddie Murphy's brother?
Agreed,nobody wants to watch positive programming.You cant expect your average person from the hood to tune in.
