    in a film. :p

See the Oprah interview via the youtube link. About a couple of minutes in there are glimpses of Dakota's first onscreen kissing scene from her upcoming film "The Secret Life of Bees".

Dakota is 14 and by the looks of things will be one of those rare child actors who will make the transformation to being a star as an adult in parts because those cute and adorable looks she had as a child seem like they are transforming to the type of movie star looks needed for success. Four to six years from now she could be a beautiful young woman.

She kisses Tristan, "Dixon" from 90210, who is also playing the g/f of "Silver" (Jessica Stroup).

Is he the next Blair Underwood?

It remains to be seen if homeboy gets more screen kisses from white actresses.

Well we should point out that this is a "black" movie. So IR in it is not surprising. It is those "white" mainstream movies that backs off interracial case in point "Hancock".

Its not really a "black" movie. Its meant for a mainstream audience. Its based on the best selling novel by a white woman about a little white girl who hangs out with some black folks. So even if it has a majority black cast and is directed by a black female the studios greenlit this flick because they thought it coud get a mainstream audience turnout. They weren't looking for "Dreamgirls 2".

I had seen it yesterday and loved it. Hope the book is as good as the flick.
