I don't see what the big deal is. The man's a McCain supporter. It's obvious that he's passionate about his candidacy. I've seen many Obama supporters who are passionate Obama

And why's he a sell-out? Oh I see, because he's not a liberal? So no black person should be anything but a liberal Obama supporter, is that what you're saying? Would I be a sell-out too? I mean, I'm not a liberal and I don't support Obama either. In your mind, that makes me a McCain supporter, but I don't want him either. Both McCain and Obama are crap to me. I'm libertarian. I wanted Ron Paul for President, but since he's not in the running, I'll support Bob Barr

No group is monolithic. Individuals are free to choose whom and what they like

It's as if people have turned a blind-eye to the administration over the last 8 years.

Mr. Harris and you has the right to support who you want, but I am looking as black people as a whole and McCain policies will hurt the African-American community.

White nationalist? That's funny. I'm sure you have evidence of that, right:roll:?

Neither McCain nor Obama will be any better nor worse for Americans than Bush was. That's what I'm looking at

I think he's referring to the dog whistle campaign that McCain has resorted to running since he tanked in the polls, and the fact that the Republicans are essentially trying to blame the entire collapse of the real estate market and by extension the global financial crises on low income blacks who went out and bought houses they couldn't afford. This is farcical considering the facts that over 70% percent of people who help sub prime mortgages are white, more than 60% of black families who purchased homes with ARMs actually qualified for prime rate mortgages but were duped by predatory lenders, and that there are many more alternate A and prime rate mortgage holders going through foreclosure. But I digress.

You're right. Race does not dictate a person's opinions. There's nothing wrong with black Conservatives. There is something wrong with blacks who support the GOP in spite of how they have attacked black people in this country over the years. And that clown who thinks it's kosher for McCain and Palin to insinuate that Obama is a terrorist and incite violence against him at their rallies is a reprehensible human being regardless of his skin color.

Yeah right. You're just as delusional as the Naderites who said there'd be no difference between Bush and Gore eight years ago.

You have an excuse for all the garbage published about black people under his byline in his newsletter for years?

Is Paul a "white nationalist?" I don't think so. Bigot. Yes.

I'm not gonna defend Don Black. I don't agree with his views, but he has a right to them. You show a picture of Ron Paul with Mr. Black and assume that they are buddy-buddy. But Rep. Paul said he doesn't want white nationalist support. He does not agree with their views. Does Obama agree with the views of Louis Farrakhan and Jeremiah Wright? After all, Obama went to Wright's church for 20 years

I'm talking about Ron Paul's newsletter. Not Don Black's.

    Fuck Ron Paul. He's irrelevant.

He may be irrelevant to you and others, but he's very relevant to me. He speaks to the issues that I care about. He's the only person in either house of Congress who speaks to those issues. I will always support him

I'm an Obama supporter, but you're an idiot for calling him a "sell out" for supporting McCain.

I liked Paul okay too, but you can't argue with most of the people on this board about sound politics. Most believe Democrats is automatically always the right way and that Obama/Democrats are going to give a bunch a hand outs to people that cant take personal accountability. The basis of their political arguments are basically just recycled garbage that is passed around "black communites" with no solid logical facts backing it. And if you dont follow suit as a sheep you are a "sell -out". Sound logic right? As I said I support Obama but its solely political. Relative to his opposition and state of the economy. Now dont get me wrong I also think he is a solid man and role model and im definately proud of his achievements as a fellow black man. THe majority of the time ive favored conservatives though.
