I personally find all races of women attractive in their own way. I find many black women to be attractive even though my attraction leans slightly towards white women. Alot of this has to do with my suburban upbringing and private school education. I think that the OP of that board exposed what many people may not conciously recognize, that black women are not considered attractive since they do not fit the prevalent image of attraction that is propelled by the controlling media outlets in America (or much of the Eastern World for that matter). Much of what we as a society consider to be "attractive" is shaped by the images that surround us. Of course that image, for the most part, is of the woman with European features. Should the converse be true, if women with African features were bombarded all over the TV and movie screens, then black women would be considered more attractive. The same can be said for skinny women vs. not-so-skinny women. Our society bombards us with images of thin women and much of those images is ingrained into our sub-concious. Thus, Maxim magazine will never put out an image of, say, Oprah Winfrey and declare her the hottest woman in the country.

The BW around where I'm located appear to be doing well.

I see dark-skinned BW, light-skinned BW, [insert adjective here] BW with men of different ethnicities every other day.

 

Seems to be true, at least with my friends. They won't ever be attracted to a black girl just because she's black and they say "black girls have purple spotted pussies" and I'm like "What the fuck? Dumbasses."

Yeah,and they arent afraid to express their dislike of black chicks infront of you.Ive had people that i use to conversate with tell me that "black girls are ugly as fuck",right to my face.We were cordial with eachother,and they said it in a jokingly manner,but i was surprised about how they would just come out and say it

The person telling you these things might be throwing a hint at you too, but know you appreciate attacks on the women of your race so he left it at that. I hear people expressing disgust with Seal and you saw that article about Forrest Whitaker.

 

Not really.Me and the guys always use to joke around with one another,so they probably thought that i wouldnt take offense to it.I did,though.
Btw,forrest and seal ARE ugly,everybody thinks so including Blacks.

 

Black women aren't always depicted in the best light. Blacks in general are shown to be masculine which can be an advantage for men and an obvious disadvantage for women. Conversely, Asians (by that I mean East Asians) are seen as being more feminine (outside of martial-arts flicks) and so it serves to prop up Asian women but it hurts Asian men.When you don't run/own any networks and have limited sway in mass-media, you can't control the images that others see of you across the world.I guarantee that the minute white men start foaming over black women...everyone else will conform to that standard. The only thing holding white men back (just my conspiracy theory) is that by hopping over the border to get black women...they open the already raggedy floodgates protecting their women from being targeted like prey at the beginning of hunting season (which started a few weeks ago...LOL).Besides that...most dudes that claim BW are ugly...couldn't get a fine black woman anyway. The WM, LM, and AM that can, generally like the sistas.

 

Ethiopian,Somalian,Eritrean these folks are black so they sound real stupid talking about they think black women are ugly. Hmmmmmmm that is suspect research at best. I would never let a dude of another race tell me black women are ugly friend or not. Anyone who has that much time to parade up and down the Internet is an imbecile.

There are more anti-sociable people who live solely for message boards than those who visit time to time. It is those same people that know it all yet don’t have a significant other.

Basing the whole worlds view on a few comments from various message boards without venturing out in society to find out yourself shows nothing more than someone with a low self esteem upon them selves.

There is nothing more pathetic than a person crying out for sympathy due to not having enough backbone to prove them wrong.

 

I think black women are more attractive than any other race of women. I'm a white female but if I could choose, I'd come back as a beautiful black woman. Of course then I'd have to find a different site to frequent!

Well said. It's sad how some deliberately set out to cause friction between women of different races.

 

I live in Lisbon, Portugal, and here, at least, black women are considered attractive by blacks and whites. The portuguese have a healthy attitude towards race in general, I would say.

 

Some folks just have self hatred and they think that if they kiss enough ass it will get them the women they are trying to gas up.

 

If I had to write a response for this thread, all of the above is how I'd like for it to read.
