He may have somewhat had a problem with it in the past but not now. His improvised dialogue in "Full Frontal" told me that he "got it" unlike so many of his black contemporaries. Blair shows that a good-looking black man married to a black woman could be serious about family, religion and being a role model without running away from the idea of being intimate with white women on screen. Its just acting after all. Denzel should pay attention.

DSM is one of my favorite shows, glad to see it back on the air. Hopefully it can pull some numbers, it got shortchanged last season 'cause of the writer's strike.

Yeah, I just saw the Season Premiere last night.

    It was good, very good.

Only thing is, I guess Blair's character (Simon) has alterior motives with Natalie Zea's character (Karen).

Based on what was happening last season, I thought Simon truly cared about her.

So, I tune in last night and there's a scene where the two of them are talking and she's expressing how much she cares about him. Like he's the "one".

Then, she gives him a kiss, leaves the room and as soon as she's gone, he pickes up the phone and says, "We've got her."

That being said, I'm guessing the writers of the show wanted to make their "love" interest something of deceit and not true feelings for each other?

Not sure how this is gonna play out but I guess Karen's daddy (Tripp) was right all along about trusting Simon.
