    Stunned to learn this. A true American legend and from all reports a very good man. My condolences.

    A true icon. Check out "Cool Hand Luke," "The Hustler" and a film he did with Sidney Poitier called "Paris Blues," three of my favorites.

    Co-sign. Paul Newman was that dude. A couple of my favorites were the movies he did with Robert Redford: "Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid", and "The Sting". "Cool Hand Luke" and "Nobody's Fool" are some more films that he was great in.

    I thought he was an excellent actor and an even better human being. His philanthropy know no bounds. He's donated the profits from his food lines and the profits total over 225 million dollars.
