I am going to try and duplicate the look of the old forum visually to ease the shock for some people. Until the transition to a new and more permanent design.

I think most everyone will prefer the new forum once they see all the new options available to them.

Some options, like seeing who is online and where they're browsing was only available to administrators/moderators in the old forum -- although only administrators/moderators can see who is invisible (in this and the old forum).

On the other hand, members also have more control over their privacy. No longer can guests view profiles without registering. Also, members can post a photo in their profile that is separate from their avatar that is displayed in posts.

Over the next few weeks I'm also going to open up more privileges for long term active members in good standing -- perhaps on request. Possibly the members who've been helping me out with ideas and suggestions (hint hint! :)) For example there are options that allow members to see who viewed their posts, etc., etc.

Take a look around and explore!

The new look is looking better because the sig pic option is working but the size is limited to like that of an avatar! Is there anyway you can make that option a lil' bit bigger? Let me know as other than that the new look is okay.

I'm slowly getting used to the new design. I haven't had a ton of time to really navigate through it. I think I did some changes to how the posts are threaded, which was nice.

The smilies to the right of this screen aren't showing up though. Is that just me? Do I have to change my settings or something?

Also, I'm all for keeping the sig pics the same size or slightly larger than the avatar pics. I didn't like having to scroll past some of the larger pics and then having to worry about someone seeing the slightly less dressed pics either at home or at work. Should we have a poll for the sig pics? LOL. Just my opinion, obviously.

Same here. I often peep at the forum at work and would rather the size of the sig pics be the same size as or just slightly larger than avatars.

Okay, i'm getting a little more adjusted to the new site, but can somebody please enlighten me as to how i can put my avatar and signature back up there? I uploaded both of them, but nothing shows.

Webmaster, i was able to get my avatar and signature up finally, but for my signature, i tried to upload a different photo, and it said that i couldn't upload a different photo while my current signature was in use. How can i get around this?

By the way, sorry for wining about the new forum. I guess being on the old one for 4 years made the transition a little more bumpy, but i'm definitely getting used to this one! Good job with everything, and keep up the good work!

Can you test it in the Bugs/Testing area and let me see what it looks like?

I increased avatar size to 100X100 and signature size to 150X500.

I liked the feature on the old board where you could view posts since last visit. That way I wouldn't have to go into every individual forum for a new post. And the smileys don't even work on this forum.

This board has that feature and you can access it two ways. There is a "New Posts" link on the main menu, and also new posts should be boldface when you enter a thread.

You can also select "Use CP" and customize the way you view posts as well as customize the look of your profile.

    Cheers for the upgrade! :)

This is the standard view I use on all vBulletin boards I visit.

Another thing I noticed is that we aren't able to delete posts?

Webmaster, is that something you're working on fixing?
