OBSESSED: Upcoming Interracial 'Fatal Attraction' Movie

This is what I'm talkin' about. This upcoming flick will be a winner. It will star Idris Elba, Beyonce & Ali Larter. It's an 'interracial' Fatal Attraction.

The storyline:

In "Obsessed," Elba will play an asset manager who has a knockout wife (Knowles) and thriving career until a temp office worker (Larter) begins stalking him.

Sounds great Kid. Now what could be better that an IR 3logy with Idris and my girls Bey & Ali Larter :?: :!: Plus the fact that Ali may not yet date black but she's not afraid to do onscreen IR with HEROES & this upcoming project :!: :wink:

I remember seeing Ali Larter in the Final Destination movies

she was very physically attractive on the show "Heroes," as well

..and I liked the IR on that show..

even tho the brotha was a stereotypical ex-con, while his white girl was very morally "questionable" and really had nothing going for her...

they could at least gave her a decent job ( and a stable personality, lol) on the show..and ditched the "black men are criminals" idea



as for this movie..

I would add it to my list of films to see..

promoting IR in all forms of media, is one way to make it seem less taboo and more acceptable

i just watched season 1 and season 2 of heroes, like this past week..

that show was addictive as hell



you guys spoiled it for me, by saying DL got knocked off in another thread tho..

everytime I watched the show, I was like "is he going to die now?"

the way he died tho was crummy

i've been watching heroes and jericho, since the unit doesn't show anything else...

those are the only shows I really watch on regular tv, and they're alllll good

if you're familiar with "Luke Cage," you may see some similarities between him and DL

Luke Cage is a marvel superhero, with a checkered past and a white girl..I think she had his baby too.... he has super strength and stuff...not the whole "walk through solid matter" stuff

I think the comic plays that part out too..about a black hero being with a white woman and all... I never read it..

I think tyrese was supposed to play him, in the upcoming film

i remember reading somewhere that they were going to make his love interest a black jawn...even tho in the comics, Luke gets his swerve on with the vanilla strawberry joints

i just know he is one of the few black super heroes, with their own comic line from Marvel...and his love interest was white

spike lee would have made sure Luke had some IR going, if he was directing

again...i wonder how many comic nerds spit out their ovaltene, when they seen a white girl, mother a child from a black stud, in a marvel comic

Yeah I heard about that movie Luke Cage. It probably won't get made though, because I remember seeing it when four brothers came out.

But his love interest could very well be non-white, because with comic books turned into movies they go their way with it. Just like in the movie Daredevil, they made the kingpen black, so it is possibility. But like I said that is if it gets made.

 

When you pointed that out, first thing that came to my mind was when
on t.v. I saw one of those baby machines; where couples could find out what their baby would look like on a photo by entering their photo and this interracial couple (bm, ww) spent or shall we say wasted their money on it only to have the picture of their baby come out not only white, but with blonde hair and blue eyes.

I guess there are no biracial markers :lol: around to draw a biracial baby :lol:

sometimes comic book heroes get drawn by multiple people

sometimes you can see a difference..other times you can't

in this case, one picture has the baby looking like she has some color to her (think the baby is a girl), and in the other, the baby looks white as the pure driven snow..

as for the movie..

it's slated for a 2009 release..

i haven't checked up on it myself, but I know Marvel has a few other movies coming out the pipe, starting with Iron Man..

I was reluctant about them casting Robert Downey Jr for Tony Stark (iron man), but when you look at the traditional comic book figure..and the way they have Rob... he looks like he'll play the part..

just like the guy from Spiderman, who plays J Jonah Jameson..

he looks exactly like the dude in the comic

on another note..

Black Panther, another Marvel figure, was supposed to have a movie..but I can't find it on IMDB..must have been cancelled
