I've lost 15 lbs since September 19, and I feel great. I had gained weight during all my time working in Chicago, because it's so cold, and then running every day and eating healthily when I'm back home in Florida. It feels great to be getting back on track.

Dropped another three, so eighteen in total. The next eighteen will be the real challenge, lol.

I stay active not sitting on my butt. Most of the time I am out on weekends wrenching on something, attending to my horses feeding and brushing them including doing things around the house. I do work out and been enjoying belly dancing which I started last month.I am 45 and turn 46 next month, learned from my late dad whom passed 8 years ago.He taught me you get nothing done sitting around doing nothing.

Dad stayed active after he retired, one was he went out fishing with his good friends. Growing up, he had my 3 older brothers and I outside doing something and there was no complaining to be heard.

I think we definitely need to place more emphasis on active lifestyles nowadays.

Now have these kids sitting in front of the TV playing video games or watching TV,on the computer. I did it with my kids, all had chores I wrote down that needed and they did them while I was at work. It was even doing it outside. All 3 are now responsible adults learning from it

Kudos to you for incorporating their chores into keeping them fit. With my son I used his competitive sports to keep him fit, and I lucked out because he's a sports nut. It's definitely not easy with so many things competing for kids' attention.

The discipline she displays with not just her exercise, but also her diet and habits, was eye-opening.

Definitely a motivator to me to turn up the heat on my workouts.

I can stand to drop about 10-15 lbs, but I've been out of shape, and hated that feeling. Thankfully, that and a strong desire to continue being healthy motivates me to workout and walk regularly. I'm usually in the gym 3-4 times per week, and I walk 1-2 miles at least 5 days per week.
