Other races getting mad at i/r relationships?

I know im making alot of threads,but i got alot ot ask :lol:
I once had a convo with this latina girl who said that she hated seeing "good looking black guys" with white girls.I was shocked because,well,she wasnt black and it was none of her buiss;but she had said that since she "grew up with blacks" in the bronx,she feels as if its her people also. :roll: Any of you guys heard about other ethnic groups getting mad about bm/ww relationships for whatever reason?

 

I new this asian girl that hated to see white girls with Black guys. She always thought that white girls were too good for black guys. That all changed when she walked in on her friend having passionate sex with a black guy.

 

Man :lol:. Well, i do remember telling a Puerto Rican ex of mine that i had dated white girls in the past and she gave me this funny look, saying, "What do black guys like about white girls".

Shit like that happens all the time. You just gotta ignore it.

 

Does this Latina knows Hispanics can be White? Suppose that Latina sees a brother dating a woman like Cameron Diaz? Would she get into a tizzy over it?

I think she knew,she was referring to american/european white girls.
I often have heard of asian guys getting mad & jealous of black men because of their success with white females.

 

Nearly all the wm I encounter are bugged by it to some degree, Many seem to bite their tongue and say nothing. More will make passive aggressive snide comment, while only a few actually have said to me directly in a confrontational way that they disapprove. But so far, I've yet to get a wm saying he's "cool with it", or words to the effect.

Still, doesn't bother me though.

 

This is an interesting thread. You know, I never really thought about what people other than blacks or whites think.

I guess I could see how they might get a little annoyed.

A few asian guys pissed cause they seem to see BM/WW couples more than AM/WW couples? Possibly.

Latina girls wondering why BM tend to pick WW over others? Possible.

Subconious jealousy amongst other races when they see BM/WW couples? Possibly.

And whatever else people have experienced ....

All this never really occured to me. I think it's quite funny.

i used to like a latina girl in high school ( she cried when I graduated, that said a lot), who used to poke at me when she found out I asked a white girl to my senior prom, instead of her..

Mexican and Arab/middle-eastern guys really get pissed when they see me out with mine..

My girl was bragging about how good the food was at this mexican restaurant she likes and how nice they were..

I chuckled and said "you better not bring me in there"

She was like "oh no..these guys are really cool"

Sure enuff..they seated us by the kitchen and left us waiting there forever..

I was laffin' my ass off the whole time..

Racism is off the chains in latin america and the arab world..

jungle fever had some interesting parts in it, with respect to where you would go and eat, in an interracial relationship....

that question has often passed my head also, because I know for a fact that, while this is the 21st century, there are still people ( some black people and other's concerned with african-americans ) that would not like to see a young, intelligent black male with a white woman, period..

case in point, in Jungle Fever, one scene takes place in a restaurant, where Queen Latifah was wesley's and anabella's waitress, who immediately took on an attitude when it came to serving them..

the movie is an old one, but it still bears some sort of relevance to potentials issues, which would affect IR couples

it's really nobody's business who makes you happy and all, but this is the real world, and often people stick their nose where they shouldn't.

 

Many "brown" people subscribe to the racial order that whites are on top and everyone else is beneath with black on bottom.

The problem is that most blacks don't see things that way...and many whites. It confuses them because they no longer know their place in the pecking order when they see BM/WW.

Also remember this: Many other groups see WW as the top of the heap...if a BM can get a WW...Arab men and Latino men know that their women are next! :lol:

It is mostly women of other races who is into BM, Im sure all those listed above were into BM. I don't know, but for some reason when they develope that attraction to the brothas they get that bad spot that those kind of bw have which is hatred and jealousy of ww with a brotha.

Most of the time whiteguys like I said before will hate it if the black guys love it, like women wiht the big butts, fatgirls, etc. all those wm use to hate on a ww until they started to date black guys and all of a sudden they like it now. Because they just want to be greedy and have it all.

I don't care how upset I may be, if I see an interracial couple it always warms my heart. The people who don't like it will never be happy because they're not happy with themselves.

People are going to want what they feel they can't have, it's just human nature.
