There's a little of it all in most black men, we need it just to survive. It's just a matter of what style one leans towards or what life and love style you're most comfortable with. Versatility is crucial
Both and neither. It's all about the individual guy. coughcoughIdrisElbacoughcough I like guys who have an understanding and sense of style. A man with an eye who knows how to look good and can put things together. Sometimes bold original combinations, sometimes extremely subtle little details. Trend followers & fashion victims do nothing for me. It's more about the way he puts things together and how he wears the clothes, than the actual clothes themselves.
I've been been suburban, country, urban and back to suburban. I guess it's fair to say that I consider myself a global citizen. Lol
I had posted this quote from William Shakespeare's Hamlet once. "...Clothes doth make the man." Clothes say a lot about people. You can either blend in or stand out. Some clothes have a way of moving with a person; like an accentuation that can get the attention of an observer. I have seen this a few times in the theater and on television and film. The right color and occasion brings some surprising things.
As in life all things must match the situation but also the common expectations. Personally, I like sportswear, casual clothes, neat, comfortable, clothes also emphasize the character of man.
Any love for us square guys lol? A bit of all styles, but a bit bookish as well? Sort of like Carlton from the Fresh Prince, but with rhythm? Hahaha
Brotha you knew what the answers were lol it is what it is get a nerdy chick or a goth or more relaxed chick. But you do you that's just my advice. But nothing wrong with being or dressing normal in western society.
I’ve dated a few hot party girls, but they’re more trouble than they’re worth. I’ll leave them to the baller guys. Lol
Ain't nothing wrong with a party chick she's only there for the night or 2 but other than that keep doing yo thang
It’s funny I’ve always loved the way DMX dressed lol my ideal ‘look’ in a man was him I went to New York/Brooklyn years ago thinking that’s how New Yorkers dressed lol much to my dismay..
