As for your belief that CNN is trying to shield Avenatti, they were one of the first networks to report Avenatti was charged with stealing hundreds of thousands from his former client Stormy Daniels.
And I promise you CNN reported the results of Avenatti's trial on air. Whoever told you they didn't is lying. Why would they write so many articles online about it but no report on it on their cable network??

CNN covers hard news for almost 20 hours a day. It simply is not credible to believe CNN who was followed the Avenatti case and reported on him in a negative light, refused to report the verdict when Avenatti was convicted.

That makes no sense. Unless someone is sitting at home all day recording CNN news reports, this doesn't pass the smell test.

The last few thousand years of human society have proven one immutable fact, humans are incapable of equitable and peaceful self-governance. So stop acting as if your team or their team matters. Only one being in the universe deserves unfettered allegiance, (he's the one who created the real Donkeys and Elephants) everyone else are just kids playing make-believe. So the best any of us can do is to try our best to be good people on a micro-level of society (family, friends, neighbors) and hope some of that decency makes its way to the macro-level of society.
