I've experienced stupid, racist comments at a bar with my husband once or twice in my life and it pissed me off something fierce, but strangely it was not national news!

That said, I'm still glad to see these get posted sometimes just so people know that this sort of behavior still exists and that I'm not making it up when I tell people that random, drunk white dudes will say awful, racist stuff to me sometimes. It is surely way rarer than it was in 1980 (let alone in 1940), but it still happens!
