Dems really need to work on messaging. The GOP just kills us on communicating what we want to do for voters. This is why our democracy is on the brink.
Even Trump was able to take Bernie Sanders' populist message and claim it as his own.smh.

I'm afraid unfortunately we have dark days ahead as a nation. If progressives don't hold onto the House and get seats in the Senate in 2022, our democracy is on the verge of existing no more.

 

I didn't realize how big a media & political figure that Michael Avenatti became. I must've been tuned out of politics during that time. Always thought the Stormy Daniels scandal was dumb AF though & JFC Avenatti was behind the Brett Kavanaugh gang-rape accusations.

 

The Stormy Daniels controversy was about Trump using campaign funds to keep one of his former lovers quiet, which is a serious campaign violation and a crime.
And no one argued Kavanaugh raped anyone, just that he acted inappropriately sexually against a minor when he was in HS, (laid on top of her at a party but didn't do anything), which put his character in question to be a Supreme Court Justice.

Christine Blasey Ford never said Kavanaugh raped her. According to her testimony at his SC hearing, it was more attempted rape as Kavanaugh laid on top of her, tried to take off her clothes and put his hand over her mouth. But that's where it ended. Bad enough, but not rape.
Dude still shouldn't be on the SC.

It was the right that started this Critical Race Theory Debate. As if you get taught anything useful in History class in Elementary or Middle School lol. Heck if you look at a Southern History Textbook, the way they dance around Slavery is absurd.
