The code-words we use.

Honestly I don’t know of code words. Maybe code looks...For instance there’s the middle aged single woman attending all alternative, ethnic, music and culture events in town. She usually wears ethnic inspired clothes (head tie, Touareg earrings, Indian Pajama pants, batik shirt). She dances wildly to „ethnic“ music and is definitely open to dating all men (except European). She usually gets stuck with Afro dance teachers, drum teachers, dancers, chronic ganja smokers and wannabe Afro beat stars.

There was a trickle in the West and some on the East during the Cold War. Plus the offspring of Afro British and American soldiers.

Those were single black people here and there, not a reasonable sized population. Ask me how many black people I saw growing up in the 80s and 90s. Not many.

Had they kept those colonies, the Namibians,Cameroonians, and Tanginieans would be like the Africans in Francophone countries.

Just a name I cooked up for the type of woman you were describing. Pier One is the name of a chain of stores that feature “ethnic” furnishings, like bamboo chairs, handwoven rugs from various cultures, candles , etc.

Lol...yeah, that fits. Do you have a lot of them over there? Or is it more of the hoop-earrings, into-hiphop kinda women?

I have seen both, so I think it depends on which type you attract. I usually attract women who are a bit nerdy and academic, but with a taste for alternative music and hip-hop, but they usually aren’t the black acculturated types. I think that’s because I’m kind of bookish myself.

Correct, my African male friends were less likely to date out than my Caribbean friends.

Soulthinker has definitely done his homework on the history of black people in Europe;).

Why in the world would we interracial daters need code words? That is weird. Interracial daters are not part of some underground society. We are just people who are acting on what makes us happy. The best way to find out if a WW is interested in you is to ask her.

He indeed has. But Isnt it suprising that in Europe, we are not aware of this history.
But more and more books are now published about the African soldiers who were fighting in the First World War and the relationships they had with European women.
